AMERICAN VOTING

There is a new American rule for voting:   IF THE DEMOCRATS DON’T WIN BY A LANDSLIDE, COUNT AGAIN.  IF THEY STILL DON’T WIN, COUNT UNTIL THEY DO.  They counted 3 times for Al Franken, why?  Why’d they stop at 3?, because he finally won when those ballots were found in a car trunk?

McSally’s loss is devastating….I’m totally fed up.

DOES NOBODY ELSE CARE THAT 90% OF THE TIME, OR MORE, IT’S THE DEMOCRATS WHO ASK FOR RECOUNTS THEN SOMEHOW WIN?   Michael Medved, no fan of conspiracy theories, not a very far right rightwinger, usually a voice of reason surprised me yesterday when he totally agreed that something’s wrong here.  He said the Republicans haven’t been found to have tampered with voting since 1876 and the Rutherford B Hayes election.   That’s a long time ago.

NOBODY IS DOING ANYTHING ABOUT THE FACT THAT VOTING BIGWIGS AREN’T FIRED WHEN THEY REALLY SCREW UP, THEY JUST KEEP SCREWING UP, LIKE SNIPES IN FLORIDA (Jeb Bush is calling for her ousting NOW. He was the one who appointed her, the jerk).   NOBODY SEEMS TO CARE THAT VOTES SHOULDN’T BE COUNTED IF THEY’RE FOUND AFTER DEADLINES.  I COULD GO ON AND ON.   WE REPUBLICANS JUST SAY ‘OH, GEE!  WE THOUGHT WE WON THAT ONE…OH, WELL!”

BS.  Just UTTER BS is what I have to say about this.  Nobody else give a DAMN?

  1. I think it’s good that Scott went hard after alleged Senate-for-lifer Nelson early. It seems his margin will hold up. But this has got to stop. Getting rid of Snipes is a good start. The state election commissioner has to put the hammer down on the counties. Scott should have fired Snipes, he didn’t and now we’ve got this again. Desantis should fire her immediately upon taking office. As for McSally, she can find herself in the Senate soon. Kyl doesn’t want to stay, so the governor can appoint her. I assume she’ll have stand for election so there’s that. Sinema ran a great campaign as she lied all the way through it and fooled a lot people. She’ll be found out once Chuckie gets his claws into her.

As for 1876, that was a joint effort between the Dems and the Repubs to seat Hayes in exchange for removing troops from the south to end Reconstruction. This doomed African-Americans to endure the Jim Crow Era. There were votes in dispute in several states so the House Commission appointed constitionally to settle the issue, made that deal. BTW, one of the states with disputed votes: Florida. History doesn’t always repeat itself, but sometimes it rhymes.

L&O, I thought it was known the Republicans pulled some stuff to get Hayes in; it’s good to know it wasn’t just the Repubs….I love your line about history rhyming and I love how much you know and understand about our history!
WHAT DO YOU MEAN ‘WHEN CHUCKIE GETS HIS CLAW INTO HER?’ :
“SHE’LL BE FOUND OUT?” Chuckie must adore her………explain, please! I’d love to know this.
And I AM SO HAPPY you said Jon Kyl’s seat could be given to McSally! What are the chances? Talk about divine intervention….I HOPE SO!

People have to go to jail or the dems will voter fraud us into the stone age. Honestly, I’ve read about individuals going to jail for voting twice. Snipes will end up on permanent vacation with a nice pension.

Few people appear to understand the effectiveness of the Soros organizations in their ability to affect election outcomes. They do not realize, for example, that Soros has been building these organizations for decades. He learns from his mistakes, continually make adjustments. This man’s impact on our Republic is nothing short of astounding —and yet, there are no conservative organizations that can rival his efforts or the effectiveness of his programs. Yes, the DNC is in this up to their necks, but Soros is the mastermind and I would guess that his power behind the scenes rivals that of the President of the United States. The insidious nature of his programs even includes public education. He’s growing democrats year after high-school graduating year. No one cares. I just wonder, where are conservative investigative journalists to expose this?

About McSally … I think she made the same mistakes Simple McCain did when he was running for president. As a military veteran of three decades service, I can say that her military resume is without peer. Her background suited her well in the Air Force, but it does nothing for her now. People shrug off the fact that she was the nation’s first female fighter pilot … possibly thinking, “So—she can fly a plane, so what?” McSally’s mistake were these two things: (1) she needed more time in the House of Representatives, to build up her political resume, and (2) She emphasized her military background as if that was the only thing she had going for her. And if that really is all that she has going for her, she can’t win an election in Arizona. Maybe she’ll do better in future elections. My advice to her is “Drop the B-4 bag, because no one really cares about military service.”

L&O….I get you know. Yes, you are SO right!

Mustang, I thought about that this morning…people don’t get swayed by “just” having had military background. I think you’re right on that. People do care, but not necessarily for background on these positions. At least it shows more patriotism than someone who condones the Taliban, however! McSally trusted in the goodness of the people. She lost.

    Kid, too true.

Well. I had 3 hours sleep and have been awake since 2:30 am and now go off to face 20 Econ class kids…WISH ME LUCK! Thankfully, I only sub one class this morning!

There are a lot of things we can criticize the GOP for not taking action and it will only continue till we get fed up enough to do something about it. And Mustang is right about Soro’s influence. We need one of those guys with big bucks on the right to counter him. (post-Trump presidency?)

    fascinating truth about California wildfires.
By the way, Jerry Brown knows how to pick his people and they know how to suck up to him; the California Fire Department Biggest-wig was on TV last night bemoaning how ‘this is the NEW NORM, it’s because of years of dryness and we don’t see this changing….” He got way closer to how this is GLOBAL WARMING but I don’t remember his exact words.
It almost felt embarrassing to see an ‘expert’ relying solely on one way of looking at it…OH, yes, I also remember now that he said “The best science says………..”

Well, it MIGHT, but the best scientISTS say that this is cyclical and would remind this guy to read my linked article.

The allure of power, especially political power, is irresistible to Democrats. It’s also addictive. And they lack the self-control and discipline to manage it.

As Lincoln said, most men can withstand most forms of adversity . . . but if you want a true test of a man’s character, give him power.

Perhaps the saddest part of the sin of abuse of power is that those who abuse it believe either that what they did was not wrong or was in the greater good.

Democrats manage to convince themselves that although rules are necessary for an orderly society and devote much time and energy to writing restrictive regulations and laws, once they achieve the power they so desperately crave, those rules no longer apply to them, only to the common people, the pickup-drivin rifle-totin God-fearin rednecks.

The perfect example of that is Secretary of State Clinton’s insistence that everyone who worked for her abide by the rules and not use private servers for official correspondence, especially e-mail.

But then to avoid conflicts of interests where her private “foundation” and her official duties interfaced, she used a private server herself and exposed classified information to unauthorized persons. In her eyes, that was not a crime, merely bad luck that she got caught at it.

Bill Nelson and Andy Gillum couldn’t care less how many illegal or unauthorized or phantom ballots are involved in their winning their races. All they care about is the winning, and they will quickly contend that no matter how many fraudulent votes are found in their favor, those will be cancelled out by similar numbers for their opponents.

The siren call of power is a sickness to which liberals are particularly susceptible. My cure, my solution is to expose about half a dozen during each 2-year election cycle, prove complicity or awareness of fraud in whatever form, and then publicly and nationally humiliate them with devastating fines, prison sentences, and at least one public caning.

That way they can satisfy their need to be of service to the public by showing what happens when candidates or seated politicians let their hubris and greed overbalance their honor and ethics. In other words, if you can’t be good, at least be a good example of what NOT to be.
