Yes, the favor President Trump wants from Ukrainian President Zelensky has to do with the actions taken by the Ukrainian government interference in & support of Hillary Clinton during the 2016 election. It also has to do with Deep State corruption and the massive amount of pay-to-play bribes enriching America’s Ruling Class Establishment. His request for their assistance in investigating has to do with American past and present corruption, not the 2020 election.
President Trump wants help getting evidence of Joe and Hunter Biden’s payoffs in Ukraine and China and everywhere else. But it goes much deeper than just the Bidens. I think as the election approaches and the Ruling Class Establishment’s corruption is exposed, that the reelection campaign will be about ending this massive corruption.
After all, folks, actual listed “foreign aid” is a small part of the federal budget… but federal agencies and departments also have massive budgets with funding for all sorts of foreign ventures. The State Department, Department of Commerce, Department of Agriculture, Department of Transportation… all of them have hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars appropriated to them annually. All of these departments engage in ventures with foreign countries and miraculously, those making the deals become personally wealthy, beyond their wildest dreams.
THIS IS TAXPAYER MONEY!!!! The Federal Government has been running a Mafia-style skimming operation, a federal protection racket! Not one DAMN DIME in the Clinton Foundation’s bank accounts was earned legitimately by Bill and Hillary Clinton. It is all money they extorted and extracted for access to America’s treasure! IT’S OUR DAMN MONEY!
President Trump intends to massively CUT federal expenditures in his second term and he’s going to do it by cleaning up the corruption and putting an end to this theft! He is a wildly successful businessman who knows how to cut spending…. REAL CUTS, not the BS of reducing the amount of growth in spending being labelled as a cut!

The aid to Ukraine which is in question, was $440 million or so. It was to be given to Ukraine so they could buy American made arms. So we give Ukraine a ton of money so they can send it right back to the American military industrial complex and all their buddy’s. Really?? And that’s not money laundering?? That’s why there is such a stink. No wonder they are trying so hard to discredit Trump, he’s on to their scam, and it started with that loud mouth Uncle Joe spilling the beans about firing the prosecutor, who was looking into his son’s connections. HMMM!!.

AcuChuck, the whole federal budget has to be revamped. This crap of doling out government contracts to the Industrial Military Complex must be reformed. I don’t want to put them out of business, because God knows we need them. But we don’t have to pay 10 times what it ought to cost.

All the democrats and their family members and no doubt some repubs and their family’s are laundering some serious tax money. From deblasio’s ugly wife and her woman’s program, battered women or something like that can’t account for 878 million t0 Mooch’s 3/4 Billion for a non-working website that would stillbe highway robbery at 10 million, to some back rep up in illinois whose wife is running some kind of women’s help things on federal grant money. They are ALL stealing massive amounts of money. Pelosi worth over 100 mil on 223,000 a year? No end to these stories.

@ Mal … the law doesn’t protect the whistleblower’s identity; it protects his/her job. If there was no whistleblower, I wonder if that opens Schiff up to making false allegations to the level of legal jeopardy. I do not doubt that he’s capable of such dishonesty, but grind my teeth thinking he could get away with it unscathed.

Everything Donald Trump does will be considered malfeasance by the Democrats leading up to the election, high crimes and misdemeanors all. I’m used to it, and so is he. It’s possible that some good may come of all this impeachment nonsense: a constitutional amendment that will limit and define in excruciating detail what are considered high crimes and misdemeanors, and future abuses of power by either party will no longer be used to over turn the will of the people at the ballot box.

Fredd, I’ve written a couple constitutional amendments:
– Congress nor the president will have to power to create legislation that applies to the citizens but not themself, and vice versa. That’d stop a whole bunch of crap and,
– the government, federal, state, and local will have no power whatsoever to restrict anyone’s ability to buy any weapon up to and including Ohio Class Nuklar Submarines bristling with Nuklar weapons.

The latest pay for play involves someone the media detests and they are in full attack mode. They were quiet when joey held money from Ukraine unless they fired the prosecutor investigating his brilliant son. The clintons used pay for play to fill their, never spend a dime on helping others, charity and the prince of incompetence, obama, gave billions to a government who’s motto was kill Americans. The media was in step with the prince of incompetence when he told Romney he was behind the times about Russia and then they blamed them for -H- getting her as- kicked.
IMHO I do not think trump will win reelection and the GOP needs to appoint another candidate or we will end up with a country we won’t recognize, run by a group who will open our borders, give taxpayer money to all those who don’t deserve it and line their pockets with gold.

skudrunner, I vacillate between YES and NO about Trump in 2020….I think he vastly needs to change his demeanor in speeches, etc., tough but honorable would help….he could be losing a lot of women if we’re to believe some input I read.
But, I don’t think most people who WOULD vote for him would ever vote Democrat, not with this socialist bunch, and that keeps me optimistic. …because you’re right; if he loses, America is OVER; we discuss that here a lot.
