Agree with ALL, SOME? Thoughts?

A friend emailed me something she received and I thought I’d post it…..How much do you agree with?

I fail to believe that Trump is a criminal, disloyal, thief, Liar, dislikes the military, or a traitor!  I do see the advantage of him being friendly with our enemies.  To “stay close to your friends and closer to your enemies “, is a century’s old Tenet for a successful negotiation outcome.  Russia in particular has always believed in Strength, Intimidation, Deception and Brutality!  Putin is a classic example of the Tenet. Trump understands that and behaves accordingly.

I dislike Trumps verbiage delivery in his town meetings (he’s improving).  Repetition of cliches, metaphors and salient points.  However, I do understand a lot of the bravado used to ‘rev up the base’.  If he does not brag about his accomplishments, who will?  Trump is masterful as a negotiator and understanding of human nature!  Also is smarter than he is given credit for, naturally.  He was the top of his class at Wharton School of Business, a most respected graduate school!  In addition to that, he didn’t become a Billionaire just because his dad left him an inheritance!

Like him or not, I believe he is the right man at the right time in our history, not beholden to anyone and financing all of this with his own fortune.  Isn’t it odd how certain people cross our life path for no explainable reason?  Just consider odd characters in history that had no obvious reason to become important to America like Ben Franklin, a total philanderer.  Churchill, a fifth of Scotch a day, Halsey, very near the bottom of his class at the Naval Academy who became an Admiral when we needed him and many more who shaped the world by being the right person at the right time!

“Ben Franklin, a total philanderer.”…….. Perhaps a bit harsh. His wife refused to join him abroad apparently didn’t care for ocean travel….then there was this small pox thing that killed his son. For anyone interested in a long tale concerning Franklin and his marriage and life I suggest this link.

Trump and his entire family decided at some point to his running in 2016, to surrender themselves to the onslaught that would come from the media, the democrats and even some repubs in order to try to save America as you and I know it.

When you’re in politics you have to play politics. You’re always campaigning. Therefore I pay little attention to DJT the person and do pay attention to what is hapopening or not happening. Lots of good stuff has happened for America courtesy of DJT. He’s the only one I know of to live up to campaign promises. Best president since George Washington.

I will say find the plain talk to be refreshing, as opposed to obama for example who spewed out things that sounded good but had no basis in reality. Say one thing do the opposite.

Trump promised to drain the swamp. The swamp is fighting back hard, and we will see how most Americans feel about Trump’s efforts. This impeachment nonsense will go nowhere, or convince anybody either way: 40% like him, 40% hate him, will not sway either group, and it’s the 20% in the middle that I believe in my heart of hearts doesn’t like the way the swamp is treating him. He will not be convicted by the Senate, no way. The impeachment process will solidify those 20% folk towards what is fair, and this foolishness is nowhere near fair.

We’ll see, but you are right: he’s the right man at the right time.

I agree that Trump is the right man at the right time. We should wonder, though … how is it possible that Trump could be overwhelming elected in 2016, and then have the House of Representatives turn communist two years later. My guess is that my grandmother, who’s been dead for more than 40 years, voted Democrat. The amount of fraud existent within the fifty states is so prevalent, we should all worry about the upcoming election. I read yesterday that 24,000 fraudulent voters were discovered in Palm Beach County, Florida. These are people who own property in two or more states and vote “democrat” in all of them. Does anyone think that New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, or Massachusetts has an interest in purging voters who now reside in other states? If you think that, I have a bridge for sale.

RE VOTER FRAUD, how long do you all think it’ll take before the election that the Dems start talking about REPUBLICAN VOTER FRAUD, or KEEPING THE POOR AND DISENFRANCHISED FROM VOTING?

They ALWAYS jump in FIRST, to assuage any Republican accusations…..beat them off at the pass. Then the Republicans sound defensive.

Never ends…and it never fails 😦

Z, do you know what to do to an angry child lying on the floor kicking his feet and screaming? Throw a glass of ice cold water on their face! It makes them stop immediately and gasp! Then nicely ask them if they would like another glass. It isn’t abuse or cruelty because it doesn’t hurt them. And It works and never happens again.

  11. The truth for me is this: I’ve been a blindly loyal Republican for my entire life! What a damn fool I’ve been. Every election, our GOP candidates were elected to carry out the promises, agenda and implementation of the espoused policies. NOTHING changed. NOTHING!

Manufacturing facilities continued to fly out of here, with the high-paying jobs in tow. The borders remained open with tens of MILLIONS of illegals pouring across and our tax dollars, hundreds of billions annually, spent to sustain them…. while our country’s infrastructure; roads, bridges, power grids, courthouses, schools, prisons, etc., all continued to crumble.

The Ruling Class Establishment began to treat us with contempt and openly mock the economically desperate and suffering Blue Collar/Middle Class Americans and communities whose way of life was being destroyed. The Ruling Class was cruel and callous; completely dismissive and nonresponsive to what was happening out here in America.

Along comes President Trump … and suddenly he says We The People don’t deserve this crap. He has EXPOSED the selling out – UTTER BETRAYAL – of We The People and our country by trusted elected officials reponsible to us. It all makes sense now. The traitorous bastards have been enriching themselves, their families and their cronies for pennies on the dollar, while tens of TRILLIONS in American wealth flew out of the country. They’ve been making decisions and trade policies based on what THEY WERE PERSONALLY GOING TO GAIN and the country be damned.

The Ruling Class is now trying to impeach our President because We The People are onto them and we love what he’s doing to them. We love his trash talking these corrupt, treasonous SOBs.

You hear that Senator Romney & former President George W. Bush??? I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE WAY PRESIDENT TRUMP SPEAKS TRUTH TO YOUR CORRUPT AND WANING POWER!

This absolutely is the perfect time in history for the vulgarian, President Donald John Trump. These scumbags DESERVE TO BE BEATEN TO A PULP! Go President Trump!

  12. The Death Rattle Of The Never Trumpers
DAMON LINKER Posted at 1:25 pm on November 13, 2019

You can lament this. You can try to fight it. But the fighting needs to be undertaken with intelligence, with a clear-sighted acknowledgement of reality. That means recognizing that the struggle for control of the Republican Party is over. The faction that ran the show from 1981 until 2016 — the faction of Reagan and (George H. W.) Bush and (George W.) Bush and (Jeb) Bush and John McCain and Mitt Romney and Jeff Flake and James Comey and Bill Kristol — is finished, caput, dead, and buried. It has been overthrown. The voters are done with it. Even Romney — a former presidential nominee and current Utah senator who has long been revered in Utah — finds himself with his approval rating underwater because he dared to speak out against the president for treating his office like a racket run by a two-bit mob boss.

Jonah Goldberg, Michael Gerson, and George F. Will could talk the ghost of Ronald Reagan himself into challenging Trump in 2020, and Trump would trounce him.

The sooner the remaining Never Trumpers accept this, the sooner they’ll stop indulging in fantasies and start putting their talents and commendable moral revulsion at the president and state of the party to more productive use.

What would that look like? Well, for one thing, they could drop the pretense that the remaining primary challenges to Trump are serious efforts at winning the Republican nomination with a more acceptable candidate when they are actually kamikaze missions out to take the president down regardless of the consequences.

Boy, has he exposed a worse mess than we all imagined. (Aside: And this is just a preview of how they’ll react when Jesus Christ appears on the scene and “the beast and the kings of the earth with their armies gathered to make war against him.”)

Well, the Beast has gathered her forces in D.C. now. Pray! Trump is the Jehu of our time. I’ve come to believe there is more ‘there, there’ than I originally thought, and appreciate how he looks to the parts of the world that value the strong man. At first I thought he was just a convenient NY GOPer, and as a deal maker (who isn’t to get stuff built in NY?) somewhere in the practical center. He hung out at times with Bill and Hill, and Bill used the “Make America Great Again” line so many times in his speeches, I figured Trump got it from him. Whatever he was starting out as, his enemies help propel him in the right direction. Hillary let the cat out of the bag in the campaign: they think we’re deplorable. Do they hate him because they first hated us?

I think your additions here are perfect endings for the post…
I do have to say, however, that there are enough Republicans (me, included) who HATE Trump’s language (No, I don’t think comparing what he’s DOING with how he SAYS it makes it better) and his demeanor (I’m watching him standing with Erdogan and want to throw UP right now), who’d vote Reagan in a heartbeat. And yes, ‘vulgarian’ is a good one…totally unnecessary; I can be REALLY tough on a woman I despise, like Pelosi, and NEVER use the C word and still get my point across….A president who has to swear (and it’s getting worse every time) in front of kids revolts me.
TRUST me, I WISH LIKE HELL I didn’t feel this way and I’ve heard ALLLLL the arguments and still can’t get past it.
Sitting across from my aunt and uncle the other night at dinner and Uncle said “I can’t stand the way he talks” (they’re both strong Republicans and know a LOT of people in DC) She said “I like it, doesn’t matter how he says it, he does it!”
I guess I take after Uncle John more than I thought (yes, he’s the blood relative, not her 🙂

CHECK THIS OUT…NO SURPRISE! “Impeachment leader Adam Schiff has reportedly been caught in a lie again. The Washington Post even agrees that Schiff’s claim that he does not know the identity of the whistleblower is a blatant lie.
    According to The Daily Wire:
House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) made a highly suspect claim about the CIA whistleblower on Wednesday during House Democrats’ impeachment inquiry hearing. Schiff asserted that he did not know the identity of the whistleblower.”

HONESTLY FOLKS, I BURST into laughter (literally) when he said , at the end of the hearing “By the way, for the record, it wasn’t true when the Republicans first said I know the whistleblower, or when they kept insisting, or now, or any time in the future. I do not know who it is.”

  29. Z, there is nothing dirty about President Trump trying to tie American foreign aid to cleaning up corruption in Ukraine. He’s trying to pressure the new Ukraine President to live up to his campaign promises.

How many lies will be told on primetime news shows tonight and in newspapers tomorrow about today’s hearing? It is truly simple, uncomplicated… Ukraine has massive corruption, the owner of Burisma, Mykola Zlochevsky, stole billions of dollars while he was Ukraine’s minister of natural resources under Viktor Yanukovych, the former president of Ukraine. Hundreds of billions in foreign aid from America & Europe, too, DISAPPEARED.

Zlochevsky hired several prominent American’s relatives and close associates (Hunter Biden, Devon Archer, Chris Heinz, James Bulger, etc.) to help him keep the ill-gotten gains and get the heat off of him. Vice President Biden and Secretary of State Kerry TOOK BRIBES paid to themselves, their relatives and close associates in furtherance of Zlochevsky’s efforts to stay out of trouble and keep his stolen billions. Pelosi’s son Paul, Mitt Romney’s son, the late John McCain, Bill & Hillary Clinton & the Clinton Foundation, John Kerry & his stepson…. they’re all involved in money-laundering & pay-to-play bribes IN UKRAINE!

President Trump was trying to determine if the new Ukraine President, Volodymyr Zelensky, was really committed to rooting out the corruption before he agreed to give more American aid to them. There is no quid pro quo here… there’s an effort to clean that crap up! What the Hell are Democrats doing here? This whole thing is NUTS!

I’m sorry President Trump’s rough talk & cursing bothers you… To me? I really don’t care. There are so many dead serious problems he’s taking on…. so many powerful & evil people he’s up against. We need this President to be tough!!! And he is!
