THIS IS REALLY A CHALLENGE FOR TRUMP, FOLKS…. I don’t believe Stone deserves this but I haven’t details, haven’t followed THAT closely. Sentencing Feb 6.

And Schiff , again, tried to stymie Republican questioning…..

EVERYBODY…Yovanavitch actually is quite bright and professional. But very hurt by Trump’s words about her…which I can well understand.

Schiff is trying as hard as he possibly can to SHUT THE RIGHT UP, calling TIME unfairly, particularly trying to stop Stefanik (NY, who I am LOVING FOR PRESIDENT!!! ) She ROCKS and Schiff is scared to death of her, apparently. This VERY Conservative woman represents VERY lib NEW YORK! HURRAH!

Rep Speier called Trump, Giuliani and someone else, “THE THREE AMIGOS”….and Yovanovitch responded with “YES” without asking “WHO?” That spoke badly for her, I must say..just heard that.

  13. I do not believe Ambassador Yovanovitch was recalled due to a smear campaign of unfounded accusations, concocted by Ukrainian officials and Rudy Giuliani. I believe she did make disparaging comments against President Trump and the Administration’s policies.

I believe she did, in fact, have a “Do Not Prosecute” list she shared with Ukraine government officials…. and that that list was drawn up by Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, Victoria Nuland, at the behest of her boss, Secretary of State, John Kerry.

I do think she comes across as reasonable, competent and …. wounded by the unceremonious way in which she was recalled. I think she did not serve the President well in Ukraine and that she was recalled as a result.

Could the President have removed her from her post in a more genteel manner? Possibly… but then again, she said NOTHING while GOP candidate Donald Trump was disparaged by numerous Ukraine officials in the run up to the election. She turned a blind eye to the corruption of Burisma and the Americans appointed to its board. She is suspiciously uncurious and ill-informed about those board members…. Hunter Biden, Devon Archer, the former President of Poland, among them.

She KNOWS the State Dept. under John Kerry and Vice President Joe Biden TOOK BRIBES to help Burisma’s founder get out from under the investigations into his corruption and massive theft.

How ironic of Speaker Nancy Pelosi yesterday to accuse President Trump of bribery in this matter… when he’s trying to uncover it in Ukraine. It’s disgusting!

He’s not 100% wrong, but these people are REALLY DIGGING to make Trump look SO NASTY…..and then Trump continues to Tweet showing they’re not SO FAR OFF.
That pisses me off………..Trump needs handling….I don’t care HOW much we’re glad he’s president.

TRUMP TODAY: “Everywhere Marie Yovanovitch went turned bad. She started off in Somalia, how did that go? Then fast forward to Ukraine, where the new Ukrainian President spoke unfavorably about her in my second phone call with him. It is a U.S. President’s absolute right to appoint ambassadors.”

SO one Liberal idiot actually pounced on ABSOLUTE RIGHT, saying HIS country doesn’t work like that…as if Trump meant ROYALTY …..

  22. Z, the President is making the point that Ambassador Yavonovitch was an ineffectual, ineffective functionary diplomat of no consequence, where problems abounded everywhere she was posted. HE IS RIGHT …. and the bigger point is that the United States Department of State has been compromised, corrupt and incompetent for decades. The policies and agenda serving to HARM this country and her interests, while lining the pockets of the Ruling Class Elites.

She had NO ANSWERS, no judgments, no opinions as to why the Obama Administration prepped her to answer questions that might come up about Hunter Biden’s board membership at Burisma. She was suspiciously incurious about being prepped for those questions if asked during her confirmation hearings.

The foreign policy conducted on our behalf by the diplomatic corps and embassies across the world have benefited everyone BUT the United States of America for the last several DECADES! This is President Trump’s point. We have diplomats who don’t give a &*#$ about us!!!!

He wants to change that. He considers those in positions to represent our country as having a duty to promote American interests! You think he’s harsh to smack this 33 year career diplomat? I sure as Hell don’t! They all need a smack upside their heads! Remind them what country they’re supposed to serve!

I believe they’re afraid to push on her…..or don’t have the info they needed somehow.

Schiff, right now, is so disgusting in what he’s saying….and now she’s shaking her head agreeing with him, rolling her eyes, etc…. She’s showing her real side. Where were the Republicans? Afraid of attacking a woman.

Schiff says she’s an obstacle who had to go because she stood in the way of Giuliini thing and the Biden information of his son, etc……..so Trump fired her.

“But, it looks bad…Trump and GIUILIANI, really don’t look good right now………the Reps seem not to have too much to defend with, sadly.” To this I say: STAY TUNED!

We aren’t privy to the evidence Rudy Giuliani uncovered yet in his trips to Ukraine. He’s hinted that he’s gathered sworn affidavits and depositions, under penalty of perjury, of outrageous lawlessness on the part of the main bad actors in the Trump Russian Collusion hoax and use of the Steele Dossier. He is holding his cards close to the vest until IG Horowitz’s FISA abuse report is released and U. S. Attorney John Durham finishes his investigation.

Let this play out and try to stay strong. All is definitely not as it seems.

I’m not sure I have much confidence in these “career foreign service” professionals. I’ve met a few people in the State Department. Many are born with the silver spoon stuck down their gullets and they all show up at the State Department after college to take their foreign service exam wearing their Rolex watches that daddy gave them, convinced that they’re the best and brightest our nation has to offer, and if they don’t know something, it probably isn’t worth knowing. Meanwhile, for the past ten decades, our country’s foreign policy has become the laughing stock of the civilized world, but policies not quite so amusing to the people who are being killed, maimed, destroyed because we Americans never seem to know when to stay home and leave other people in other countries alone. I’m always amazed that there never seems to be a moral question about selling guns to thugs when we do it … only when some other country does it. We don’t have to go back too far in history to see how badly April Glaspie screwed the pooch in Iraq, a “foreign service professional” whose gross incompetence sent young Americans to their death, caused them to lose limbs, and suffer the effects of chemical weapons. And, of course, all she ever received from this was a termination letter … she ought to have gone to federal prison for criminal malfeasance. So I’m with Fairest Witness in questioning the actual bona fides of Yovanovitch and wondering why these people are assigned to ambassadorial positions when their primary concerns are their own career ladder rather than implementing the foreign policies of the President of the United States. I’ll just ask this rhetorical question and then shut up: were Yavonovitch and Glaspie part of the Affirmative Action Program? If so, it’s turned in to a pretty damned expensive program.

Mustang, nobody’s questioning the bona fides of Yavonovitch here…She’s actually a child of Communist/NAZI era survivors and has served hard diplomatic time in Mogadishu, Tashkent, and other places that weren’t cushy,…
What the GOPers should have questioned was her not acting when she knew about Biden’s son and Burisma…and other things. They treated her with kid gloves instead…until Jim Jordan got tough in the last 5 minutes, literally.

We sold guns to thugs so we could follow the bread crumbs to the witch……….Bush did well with it, then Obama’s Eric Holder came in and I heard Fed agents say they were stunned to hear “now leave” after they’d given or sold the guns to the gangs in Central America…”But we’re to WATCH to find where they go, follow the money…” “No, leave.”
Mission Accomplished: Holder and Obama sold or gave guns to our enemy; the only strings attached probably being money somehow sent to them privately, personally.
America lost the guns and the tip off.

You blame Glaspie or George, Sr. for losing boys?
