His words are good. What is his motivation though? Could it be re-election just like when Steve Manchin(?) voted for Kavanaugh?

If he is really interested in doing something for America he should not be a Democrat because it is clear to Anyone with a brain cell that the democrats do not have the country or its population in high regard.

If he is sane, he wouldn’t be associated with the Communist (Democratic) party.

Sorry! There are lifelong Dems who couldn’t DREAM of being a Republican (ask some of my Black friends) but they’re great people whose values include the kind of thing this guy did and I can’t know their hearts…or how the actually vote when it comes right down to it.
One Black friend said “You’d be surprised…I’m starting to agree with you” very recently.

I’m celebrating this guy…because I believe there are some sane people we don’t agree with.
I just wish most of the other side felt that way about us.

My first thought was the same as the above: He has the wrong letter following his name. It should be R, not D. Thank God there are still some on the left that think for themselves. Those that just can’t bring themselves to switch and become a R need to come to the realization that today’s R is comparable to the D of fifty years ago.
Bottom line: When the chips are down, the majority of voters will vote against Socialism next year. The future of the Democratic Party? Not sure. But it sure ain’t where it is today.

  5. I’m glad to see at least one normal Democrat. Most Democrats can’t be reached…. even the moderates do not openly criticize their socialist candidates. They say things like I’m not a socialist or I won’t give up our party to Sanders or Warren, that’s tepid at best. They don’t come out and say We Democrats need to oust these socialists from our party, because their policies and agenda are unAmerican and a threat to our freedom. It’s tacit approval by lack of standing up for their beliefs.

Look at the monster Speaker Nancy Pelosi has created by putting “Squad” members on important committees. She sold out the party to them and now she’s paying a huge price. This stupid ass impeachment inquiry is a direct result of her capitulation to them. She’s also revealed her complete lack of character and conviction. She is a total political animal now. Everyone sees it.

FW, Pelosi is even more disgusting now than I’d figured her for all these years. one would THINK that (supposedly) serving her country would make her understand it MORE, care MORE…..Power seems to have deflated any hopes of that.
    Absolutely DISGUSTING woman……beyond contempt.

    BOCOPRO…you feeling okay? Miss you!

Trump playing with the idea of putting in writing his side of the Ukraine situation, per Pelosi’s suggestion. But, of course, it would definitely legitimize this screwed process and give Pelosi a BIG WIN. “Isn’t that wonderful? Pelosi got it right and Trump’s following her orders”

GOD FORBID. Please, Trump, change your mind.

    “BOCOPRO…you feeling okay?”

Yeah . . . I’m good. Just got my shins all scratched up goin thru a paranoid patch.

Over the past few months I’ve noticed a kinda ominous trend on blogs where I drop trail markers in comments: my contributions seem to discourage other people’s comments.

Denny at groucholdcripple.com posts one of my essays each Wodensdaeg, tagging it “Ronsday.” Average number of comments is around half a dozen or so. Other items on other days usually get considerably more responses, sometimes in the 20s or 30s.

On your site, any time I post something lengthy on an item, commenting seems to dry up thereafter, and I can’t believe it’s simply ‘cuz I’ve covered all there is to say about whatever the topic is.

If I don’t get involved, the thread generally remains vigorous and interactive. Ref your “Ingraham,” “Rules,” and “Caged Kids” topics as compared to the one on “Memories.”

Coincidence? Donno. Prob’ly not. More like a clue. But . . . c’est la vie. Brevity is not my style, and PC is not my forte.

Bocopro…I have often thought more people read what you write than MY POSTS, that’s for sure!

But, while you can get, shall we say, “Non BRIEF”, I know we all love them if/when we have the time to read it all!

You always have something to say, that’s for sure, and so well written…we enjoy them!
    Thanks for the consideration.

When I was blogging with BLOGGER, I once got 850 comments on one post…the norm was almost, but I had to finally get rid of my Libs so I switched to WordPress and you see what i’ve got now…..MUCH fewer comments, but BETTER COMMENTS…the quantity is low but the quality ROCKS!!!!

AND, I had more time and energy in those days and, these days, I can’t comment to 100 comments a day, so I’m good.

    Keep ’em comin’, RON 🙂

Well . . . in the book of Samuel (I think it is), the Habiru ask YHWH for a king to rule them as was done in other nations.

As I remember, God (YHWH) said something like, “Be careful what you ask for,” clearly implying that He didn’t agree with the idea of their having a king.

Also like the Spanish saying for similar situations: “Antes que tu cases, mira lo que haces,” a poetic way of saying “Look before you leap.”

And now, back to your regularly scheduled program of verbosity, prolixity, and logorrhea.

Boco; I don’t know about the KING thing but I know there were plenty of good Kings God approved of plenty…like David….Mechilsadek, etc.

What’s your KING point, anyway? 🙂 (I can be a bit stupid, you know!)

  15. Bocopro, I love your writing! Always thought-provoking & inspiring. Funny sometimes, too. If I’m not posting, it’s because I’m swamped with work! Running an aviation maintenance company with 30+ employees keeps us busy!

Please don’t interpret silence from others as a negative aimed in your direction! 😘
