God, you alone are worthy of honor, glory, and praise. With You, we can overcome every storm – including the global impact COVID-19 is having on our world.
Right now, we ask You to:
-Heal those who are sick and protect those who are not
-Give our leaders extra wisdom as they navigate this pandemic and economic uncertainty
-Strengthen your global Church. Reveal to us how we can partner together to reach the needs of those around us.
-Calm our fears. Fill us with Your hope, joy, and peace as we continue to trust in You.
-Use this pandemic to pave the way for spiritual renewal. We want Your glory, power, and healing to be on display.

Honestly? THAT story worried me THE MOST, and I just saw IT WAS NOT TRUE! This is a relief…virus lasting 17 days was NOT a good thought!!

Apparently, Chris Wallace never got the definitive word that once testing was more widespread, numbers would go WAY UP.
I can’t watch him much anymore, but these few minutes I’m seeing him, he’s done NOTHING but question experts who back his opinion that Easter is far too soon to open trade, which Trump never said. He said there was a possibility and “Wouldn’t it be nice to have things start to come back on that day?”
This is the kind of thing I always believe Trump needs to SHUT HIS MOUTH on…look what he did; WE know he says whatever comes to his mind, but he scared people across the land thinking “he’s opening us UP NOW? What if we get it now?”
Bad. But Wallace is really enjoying it as much as Joe Scarborough would.
One expert is saying now that Trump is “Saying everything’s okay…” HE never did.
Finally, the expert said “Trump is being hopeful, which is good”
BUT……………
He’s now harping, Wallace, on shortages, when all we hear from this Admin is things are THERE NOW….Tons of ventilators, masks, etc being delivered…
TO WHERE? EVerybody’s still bitching they’re not getting what they need. “A lack of tests?” We keep hearing it’s READY!
The Gov of Maryland just said ‘It’s NOT ENOUGH, what we’re getting”…Does n’t Trump know that while he says It’s THERE?? He wants them “appreciative?” They will be once they get it.

Biggest category in the Forties….some 10 month olds….that’s not the case in lots of places…Thankfully, they’re not dying..THAT is the big thing. As Gov says “They didn’t follow directives”…yup

I’m having a hard time reconciling my belief in all the opinions that we were over-blowing this (Princess Diamond, etc.) with the data from ERs showing up.
Perhaps there weren’t enough susceptible passengers on the boat as there are in metropolitan centers?
Praying, nonetheless. For our nation’s health, medical, political and economic.
The Merry Widow reported symptoms this morning.

Please pray for our friend, The Merry Widow, who suffered a massive heart attack and died today in the ER after experiencing discomfort…
She was a dear friend of us conservative Christian bloggers for many years and she’ll be very sorely missed. A happy spirit ALWAYS, in spite of any troubles, and she had plenty over the years.
She had a son, Nathan, and daughter, Rachel, young adults, who could use your prayers. Actually, Rachel hasn’t been able to reach Nathan yet…..please pray all that works out. She lived with Rachel, so this is a big loss to her.
Her name was Patricia and she was one of those dear women who doesn’t preach, but lived her life encouraging friends through her love of God.
We will miss you VERY MUCH, Patricia…it’s almost unbelievable.

Ed, she and I’ve been friendly for about 15 years……I will miss her forever. I have a dedication to her at the top of tomorrow’s post. She was amazing…..
Yes, I’m sure you’ll miss her; there was just something about that delightful, positive, Jesus lover….she was amazing; a perfect example of Christianity at work.

Baysider, Patricia was a VERY strong believer and there’s no doubt in my mind, anyway, that she is being hugged by Jesus right now…I keep feeling her SMILING….
Yes, she helped AOW many times, for months at AOW’s house at a time and was scheduled to go again April 30.
This is just SO SHOCKING for those of us who knew her….so unexpected. Except by Him.
I saw I STILL BELIEVE tonight, Nico got it on his widescreen…it’s a very nice movie with what I’d say carries the message that when bad things happen it’s how we handle them that’s important…that we remember our plans are not His. Nice film
