KELLYANNE’S HUSBAND IS A MORON

AND THEN THERE’S THIS of which THERE IS SO MUCH INCORRECT IN HERE IT’S ASTONISHING!   He NEVER called the virus a HOAX, for one!:

From Kellyanne Conway’s husband, George Conway:

“For Trump supporters, let me make one thing VERY clear!

For the record NO ONE is blaming the President for the virus. Let me repeat. Coronavirus is not Trump’s fault.
Here’s a detailed list of what we are blaming him for:

* Trump declined to use the World Health Organization’s test like other nations. Back in January, over a month before the first Co-vid19 case, the Chinese posted a new mysterious virus and within a week, Berlin virologists had produced the first diagnostic test. By the end of February, the WHO had shipped out tests to 60 countries. Oh, but not our government. We declined the test even as a temporary bridge until the CDC could create its own test. The question is why? We don’t know but what to look for is which pharmaceutical company eventually manufactures the test and who owns the stock. Keep tuned.                   Z: I read that the original tests were inadequate, not correct.

* In 2018 Trump fired Homeland Security Advisor Tom Bossart, whose job was to coordinate a response to global pandemics. He was not replaced.    Z:  I guess  the fact that we hadn’t had a pandemic in 100 years might have played a factor$$$?

* In 2018 Dr. Luciana Borio, the NSC director for medical and bio-defense preparedness left the job. Trump did not replace Dr. Borio.

* In 2019 the NSC’s Senior Director for Global Health Security and bio-defense, Tim Ziemer, left the position and Trump did not replace the Rear Admiral.

* Trump shut down the entire Global Health Security and Bio-defense agency. Yes, he did.

* Amid the explosive worldwide outbreak of the virus Trump proposed a 19% cut to the budget of the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention plus a 10% cut to Public Health Services and a 7% cut to Global Health Services. Those happen to be the organizations that respond to public health threats.

* In 2018, at Trump’s direction, the CDC stopped funding epidemic prevention activities in 39 out of 49 countries including China.

* Trump didn’t appoint a doctor to oversee the US response to the pandemic. He appointed Mike Pence.   (Z: who had experience with this kind of thing and couldn’t have selected a better team, we needed a leader not a doctor)

* Trump has on multiple occasions sowed doubt about the severity of the virus even using the word hoax at events and rallies. He even did it at an event where the virus was being spread. Trump has put out zero useful information concerning the health risks of the virus.

(Z:He absolutely did NOT call this virus a hoax…NEVER ONCE)

* Trump pretended the virus had been contained.   (Z: NEVER)

* Trump left a cruise ship at sea for days, denying them proper hospital care, rather than increase his numbers in America.   (Z: this was up the State, not Trump)

Repeat. We do not blame Trump for the virus. We blame him for gutting the nation’s preparations to deal with it. We blame him for bungling testing and allowing it to spread uninhibited. We blame him for wasting taxpayer money on applause lines at his rallies (like The Wall). We blame him for putting his own political life over American human life. I hope this clears things up.”

The Lincoln Project, a group led by George Conway, released a new video criticizing the president’s response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Z: IF LOTS OF LIES AND EXAGGERATIONS ARE ‘CLEARING THINGS UP,’ THIS PIECE WORKED.

We’re already hearing that many ordinary deaths (heart disease, diabetes, TB, seasonal flu) are being attributed to COVID-19 because of “faulty” or “false” testing and diagnosis.

And for 3 years the leftist media called Trump Hitlerlike. But now in the peak of the cough crisis, they want him to be more like Hitler in restricting individual rights and freedoms. So . . . just what IS the right amount of Hitlerness?

When this dempanic is over with and the total number of critical cases and deaths and all is smaller than Dr. Doom and the computer models predicted, will the the Left say it was all a “manufactured” crisis? And for what incredible purpose?

Look . . . people will pay more attention to the ranting hysterical loon than to the quietly straightforward witness. It’s in our nature; it’s why we ride roller coasters and jump out of perfectly good airplanes and dive off bridges with rubberbands knotted to our ankles. We’re never quite so much alive as when we’re frightened to death.

I don’t know any more truth about this particular contagion than I know about Bigfoot, or Roswell, or who actually built Gobekli Tepi. Nobody does, but a whole lotta people make good livings writing, speaking, and publishing about them without solid proof of the real truth.

Thing is, The Left wouldn’t believe DJT if he DID tell the truth, the whole truth, and nuttin but the truth. We will never, ever, get the whole truth about ANYthing from D.C., not Roswell, not UFOs, not Pearl Harbor, not who set up JFK . . . none of it.

What I know fer shure fer shure, is that people gotta eat; people gotta have utilities; people gotta have clothing; people gotta have gasoline; people gotta have chemicals . . . so, farmers will farm, bakers will bake, generators will run, machines will stitch, refineries will distill, and apothecaries will dispense their pills, potions, and panaceas.

And you can bet the deed to the ranch that politicians will pretend, democrats will perjure, journalists will misquote, and government will mislead. As Michael Corleone said, it’s their nature.
Or, as Billionaire Bill Hearst famously established as modus operandi for “journalists” – you provide the pictures, I’ll provide the war.

Lemme boil it down even more to a viscous paste: we’re s’posed to cough into our elbows instead of our hands, right? And then, instead of shaking hands we’re s’posed to bump elbows?

Hey . . . Ronnie Raygun said it best: 9 most dangerous words in the English language — “I’m from the gubmint, and I’m here to help.”

$19,000 is all a hospital gets for a Covid patient.. Flat fee…. That is why the Docs are being pressured into coding them thus…… this will for sure bankrupt the hospitals. On the other hand, the hospitals are desperate to get vents because if the put a patient on a vent… even though the success rate is extremely poor — 50 to 80 percent die…(that is being optimistic) they get another $37,000.. Do the math and figure out who is running medicine.

Very true, Kid. Thats the reason I say ALL insurance should be eliminated. When the patient pays, he makes sure the charges are all justified. In emergencies, family, friends, even the church, pitch in and help. Even now, we see where a fund is set up somewhere to help special cases, don’t we?When you consider the cost of an insurance company, their building, staff & their benefits, the huge salaries of the execs. plus the hundreds of millions profit, the savings of $$$$$$$$ would be HUGE. That especially includes government’s Medicare & Medicaid and their GS retirement.

Mal…. the rates quoted are what the government pay. The insurance companies negotiate with each hospital… they pay far more than the government… it is what is keeping our system afloat. A dirty little secret.
After Obamacare the insurance companies got fed up after Obama trashed them and started to refuse to play the game as they had…. the beginning of the end.

I might add my hunch is that when Trump met with the insurance companies and they agreed to waive the co-pays, the deal is they would get the government reimbursement rate which is far lower than what the insurance companies would have to pay

I am getting along thanks for asking…… Medicare and Medicaid pay about 40 to 60 percent of what the cost of the procedure actually costs the hospitals…. Insurance companies… those nasties… pay much much more… Up until recently most paid per day for as long as it takes….now a flat rate for a diagnosis like the government now does. It is a very complicated system of payment…

BK,I realize the gov’t sets the price, but it still was cheaper in the long run when they didn’t. I’ve stated before, from 1955 to 1962 we had 4 children and no insurance. The hospital was $35/day, the OBGYN $250 for the full 9 months including delivery, and the Anesthesiologist was $80 and all would take payments with no interest. Those figures were very cheap even for that time.

BUnk, glad you’re better, tho I’m hoping for more soon than “I’m getting along!”…..You know, of course, how high the docs and hospitals BILL….like 5x what it’s worth, so the percentage of what they get is higher….as if the insurers don’t know that?! SO many doctors in Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, etc., do NOT take ANY insurance. However they do accept Medicare when you reach that age. THank GOD you didn’t have to pay the extra, unpaid amounts!!

Our healthcare system has been broken for decades and is not likely to change. Would you buy a car without knowing how much it cost, that’s what people do with their healthcare because someone else foots the majority of the cost. If I have an arthroplasty and paid for it out of pocket it would cost me 35K, if insurance paid it would cost them 19K and if medicare paid it would be 13K and I would have no clue until way after the procedure. Why, because we don’t ask how much and if we do the answer is “crickets”. If we paid our own medical bills there would be significant changes because we have a financial stake.

Published today that 90% of covid patients admitted to hospitals had underlying health issues. The big narrative now is Minorities are more affected than non-minorities which is racist of course. Living in a densely populated city, NYC, Detroit, Chicago, New Orleans make you more likely to be in large crowds and the precautions taken by your neighbors and friends determine who will be affected not race, they have to look for something to stir the pot.

I wonder if madam botox can find that speech she tore up for being a “manifesto of lies” because it mentioned the virus. Now that the DNC has ended the bern’s ambition they are stuck with predator joey. Interesting that the number two candidate for the democrat party was not a democrat, yep they are well organized but at least they have the DNC watching the ass.

The Bunkerville explanation @ 08:13 makes perfect sense to me, and what makes it believable is an Obama administration mandate within the military medical department. Previously, whenever medical doctors diagnosed a soldier with PTSD, that person would receive military medical treatment while still serving on active duty, and upon separation from the service, receive on-going care through the Veterans Administration. Then the bean counters stepped in, deciding that PTSD was costing too much money, so the DoD under Obama ordered military medical doctors to stop diagnosing it. Instead, doctors diagnosed soldiers suffering from PTSD as either “bi-polar” or “suffering from pre-service personality disorder.”

Three issues developed that remain unresolved. First, soldiers serving for less than 18 months received medical discharges due to pre-service abnormalities. Second, the military began administratively separating soldiers with more than 18 months active duty alleging personality or behavioral disorders. Third, neither of these rulings entitled separated soldiers to obtain on-going care at VA hospitals or clinics. Never mind that it was the US government that sent these young people into harm’s way to begin with. No one in the DoD ever considered that every person exposed to combat suffers from some form of stress disorder, even those who served in World War II and Korea … but back then, military medicine called it simply “shell shock.” Perhaps even worse than this, soldiers who receive medical or administrative separation due to personality/behavioral disorders may not purchase, possess, or legally carry a firearm —all because Obama wanted to cut military and VA medical costs, and restrict veterans from owning weapons.

The word for this is despicable and it proves Bunkerville’s point that healthcare professionals are more than capable of contemptibly dishonest behavior. And we trust these people … why?

Remember I did a post on how the media leads the NEWS….how nothing else seems to happen where there’s an earthquake or virus or something like that…suddenly, N Korea’s not shooting missiles, etc. Ya, so with the virus, people aren’t getting sick otherwise…

But what do you think THAT answer is?

ANY ANSWER’s implication is exactly what we talked about yesterday: TRUMP HAS TO BE IN ON WHATEVER IS GOING ON. Period.
If the numbers are lied about, he’d know it; so he’s lying.
    etc etc etc. SO??

SKUDRUNNER; who do you know could afford to pay his own medical bills beyond the occasional visit? Even my full physical here is about $1200 and he only charges me $700 because I know him and I’ve been going to him a long time. That includes lab results, etc.

I’d like to get back my post instead of healthcare….

ANYBODY SEE HOW TOTALLY ILLOGICAL, DISHONEST AND RIDICULOUS CONWAY’S POINTS ARE? AND DO YOU KNOW HOW PEOPLE SEE HIS WORDS AS GOSPEL BECAUSE OF HIS WIFE AND BECAUSE WE KNOW HE USED TO BE REPUBLICAN? THE MEDIA PAINTS HIM LIKE A MESSIAH WHO’S “SEEN THE LIGHT.”

Well, I got it into my head way back in high school that everything in there was either inserted or inspired or invented by someone else. I didn’t come up with the times tables all by myself, por ejemplo.

But as I frequently reminded my students, all the knowledge in the world is no more than leaf litter until it’s applied to somethin.

So I like to make associations, usually as close to jarring or at the very least off-beat or avant-garde — Pythonesque, if possible — and weave them into unique tapestries not yet viewed by mankind.

It’s what I do — take the little semi-precious gems that fall out of their ordinary settings on other people’s finery, polish them up, and work them into a choker or a pin or a tiara that sparkles like diamonds but is really cubic zirconia in a fancy setting.

Just can’t stand sayin stuff the way other people would say ’em.

Mustang at 2:13 – that IS despicable!

I remember Kellyann being interviewed just before she got married – all that youthful hope and promise. Now, 20 years later. I feel bad for them both. But he does seem like a moron.

As to BP’s point of declaring COVID the cause of death with faulty testing — follow the money. Always has been. African countries were promised aid for AIDS – remember? If you had deaths attributed to AIDS you could collect $$$ from the anointed internationals. Like us. So there were soaring death rates from AIDS. After poking around the circumstances it was discovered that there was little testing to confirm, and a lot with irregular symptoms for AIDS. But they got no money if they just died. AIDS was profitable.

Since the tests (at least first versions – I don’t know about this week) were terribly unreliable, it would be ‘easy’ to test and ‘confirm’ a cause of death that wasn’t really it. See my explanation yesterday on testing. They can be ‘tuned’ to lots of false negatives or positives. It’s a brilliant test, but an art as well as a science.
