Up for DEBATE

WILL THERE BE DEBATES?

“Whatever you do, don’t debate Trump,” he (Clinton  promoter) wrote on CNN. “Trump has made more than 20,000 misleading or false statements according to the Washington Post. It’s a fool’s errand to enter the ring with someone who can’t follow the rules or the truth. Biden will undoubtedly take heat from Republicans and the media for skipping the debates. But it’s worth the risk as trying to debate someone incapable of telling the truth is an impossible contest to win. ”

Think those are the reasons any leftie thinks Biden shouldn’t debate? 🙂  I don’t.

By the way, TALK ABOUT A LIAR…yes, sadly, Trump has been caught in a TON of non factual comments…but BIDEN?  Has lied his whole career…………..

Still, why does being unable to tell the truth keep one from debating?

DO YOU THINK THEY’LL DEBATE?   IF THEY DON’T, WILL AMERICANS NOTICE?

    Plagiarism Joe has fallen from the heights of the Senate into a rotten tree and stumbled out onto a rickety limb by establishing skin tone as the primary criterion for selecting a running mate.

    He has pandered his mortally wounded integrity, bragged himself into a box, painted himself into a corner, dug himself into a grave, and rasseled himself into a bind by sucking up to the black vote for a job which is as far beyond his capacity as giving live birth is to mine.

    To keep his word, he now must choose between

    Susan Rice, a career propagandist, professional perjurer, and deep-state torpedo;

    Karen Bass, a brain-dead socialist who only last week became aware of the fact that her hero Fidel was not a nice guy;

    Val Demings, a professional LEO at a time when BLM and the hard left want to defund and dismantle law enforcement organizations;

    “Tank” Abrams, the greatest single threat to the nation’s supply of carbs and lipids, who would need to abdicate as imaginary Georgia governor to accept the role;

    and Kamala “Horizontal” Harris, the many-headed hydra of Kaliphonya, who has the loyalty of a crocodile, the integrity of a hyena, and the charm of a honey badger.

    Sending “Hairy Legs” Joe into a debate with Don Tweeto would be analogous to putting Nadless Nadler into a cage match with Machete Trejo. If he does it, he comes out exsanguinated and shredded, and if he bails, he looks like a wuss.

    Gropey Joe’s biggest liability is his mouth, which he runs like a big-block Chevy on a warped eccentric cam and a faulty fuel pump which completely overloads his rusted-out broken-hanger Pinto ass.

    He’d be better off ducking the face-to-face and staying in sniper mode from his basement. DJT would suffocate him in nyah-nyahs and sarcasm, but that’s better than being impaled with his own petard and thrown to the scavengers on the colosseum sand.

    Democrat voters could not care less whether Joe debates. He could be lying on a gurney filled with IV’s and in a coma and the democrat voters would vote for him.

    Democrats would vote for a fictional character championed by CNN. I think a fictional character could do even better than Joe. They could be a different person depending on the demographic. – A black nondescript gender short tall person with yellow stripes in San Francisco and a shape-shifting alien from the Vega system with an IQ of 3,482 and who had solved climate change on his/her native planet hundreds of years ago. One day she’d be an irresistible female of light green color for the male gender favoring individuals and the next day a bronze Sean Connery, aged 37 for the ladies or anyone wishing they were. Vote for Sean Chloe and get a chance at an all expense paid date with this person.

    Joe is not going to debate DJT. This I will tell you.

    First, understand that presidential debates were an invention of the news industry, designed to sell papers, magazines, and advertising space on televised media. Not-very-bright politicians, whores all, fell into this trap, and we’ve been stuck on stupid ever since. We can ignore the Lincoln-Douglas debates because (a) they were vying for a seat in the US Senate from Illinois, and (b) they happened so long ago that they are no longer relevant. We can also ignore Willkie’s attempt because FDR refused to accept the challenge. Our only point of reference, then, is the first presidential debate, which occurred in 1960, won by a fellow who had a closer shave than his opponent. Seriously? Because Nixon’s performance in the debate was far superior to that of JFK. Well, as history shows us, neither of them was a particularly great president. We remember one because he managed to get himself assassinated, and the other one managed to disgrace himself.

    So then, what do we expect to learn from presidential debates? That political operatives are dishonest? That presidential candidates are, in the final analysis, liars? The other day, I heard Biden say, in one of his campaign ads, that it’s time to get small businesses back on their feet and (in the very next sentence) spoke of cleaning up the environment. Are small businessmen really that stupid, to imagine that Biden won’t tax them into oblivion? Do we need a presidential debate to know, in the deep recesses of our minds, which of the two platforms are best for America’s long-term interests?

    My point is that if we need to have a multi-gazillion dollar televised debate (Barnum & Bailey would be so proud) to help us figure out who we ought to support, then in all honesty, the Republic is already dead … and rather than having another “do nothing” presidential debate, we should have instead a full blown funeral ceremony. The latter would be far more honest, far more productive, and far more fun to watch … don’t you think?

  4. The last debates that affected for whom I ultimately voted were the GWB-Gore debates. I’m not sure why I was on the fence back then, but I was.

    Kid is spot on with this comment: Democrat voters could not care less whether Joe debates. He could be lying on a gurney filled with IV’s and in a coma and the democrat voters would vote for him.

    Mustang is spot on, too: Barnum & Bailey would be so proud.

    I can’t imagine that Biden will debate Trump. Biden is feeble and senile. When he appears cogent for a few moments, he’s probably been shot up with B Vitamins and vasodilators. That combination kept my grandmothers somewhat cogent — until they quit working.

    As a postscript, has anyone ever considered the “psychological warfare” aspects of presidential contests and the news media’s part in putting it all together? In 1960, NBC decided (not the GOP or DNC) that blue should represent Democrats and red should represent Republicans.

    What do psychologists tell us about human reactions to these color schemes?

    Blue: Often found in nature, pale blue of a daytime sky or the rich dark blue of a pool of soothing water. It generates feelings that range from calm and serene to cold and indifferent. Who identifies most with blue? Blue collar workers, of course, blacks (the color purple), people who disassociate themselves from “America the Beautiful.”

    Red: Represents deep anger, hostile intensity, associated with Nazi Germany’s red flag, and in language, such words and phrases as “better red than dead,” “redneck,” “red hot,” “caught red handed,” “seeing red,” “the color of blood.”

    So, convince me that the media isn’t manipulating the American people. Presidential debates are all part of that campaign.

    Mustang, I favor the funeral ceremony. It could be MC’d by all the black rappers who haven’t been killed by another black rapper yet. (I mention ‘black’ because Vanilla Ice is still kickin as far as I know)

    Imagine the floats rolling down Pennsylvania Avenue filled with every deviant, perverted, naked slime devil known to man. The last float would contain all the democrat politicians shouting through bullhorns “We Killed America !” (those who’s dentures hadn’t fallen out yet or could otherwise still enunciate) while the crowds cheered wildly.

    The kids would all wake up sometime the next day with a terrible hangover wondering what happens next. No one knew except China and Russia.

    Mustang – Red vs Blue. Wow, I never thought about that but it must absolutely be true.

    I remember back to when PC’s were first being sold that Microsoft had a study done to determine the best color to use as a basic color for Windows. The conclusion was a silvery sheen blue.

    Also Red: The color of Hell, the number 666 is often in red. Red Firetrucks – fire-danger-hot-pain, Red rose, thorn-Ouch. The red color is always associated with passion, anger, and danger, the exact opposite of what democrats are interested in.

    A lot of people think the democat politic controls the media. I’ve been thinking lately that it is the other way around. Not all of the media, as people like don lemon are morons, but rather a think tank of individuals actually controlling the democrats. I just can’t believe democrats are smart enough to come up with these things on their own. Given that the media manipulates we can easily recognize that the entire democrat political strategy is to manipulate.

    @ Kid

    I agree, but would expand that notion to include all political strategies. They are all designed to manipulate. It’s easy to do, too, since American voters seem incapable of thinking/reasoning for themselves. But in our system, we only get to choose between bad and worse. Voting is a duty –so we are frequently reminded, but I sometimes wonder if “not voting” is as much a responsibility as well. You know, among people who are capable of reason. People imagine that clothespins were designed for hanging out the laundry; I think they were designed to help people vote.

    And, of course, the word most of us have heard is that RED was chosen to become the Republican color because of COMMUNISM. The Left at NBC didn’t like Democrats being saddled with any whiff of red because, let’s face it…..it fit them better in actuality.

    It doesn’t matter to me who started debates or any of what else swirls around them; they often have given me a chance to see a man in action, in the way he can respond, in the way he knows the material. They’ve been helpful to me.

    The Left doesn’t want ANY of what I just listed to be seen from Biden because it will not be pretty…we all know that.

    BOCOPRO! I agree…Biden is STUMPED now because he’s finally figured out what a dreadful list of women that is…
    HE DELAYED THE SELECTION AGAIN TODAY………………..
    And I LOVE your list and how you see them………I heard just this morning that most Dems who know Kamala do NOT LIKE HER. The reason for that is clear at hearings where her unbelievable MEANNESS is so well exhibited.
    I do have a friend who served on some Board with her….the one good thing she could say was she’s beautifully dressed and put together 🙂

    KID, if Joe doesn’t debate DJT, it’ll be a whirlwind of conjecture and thoughts like “See? Joe just isn’t smart enough.. He can’t be president!” So the Left has to figure THAT out. 🙂

    MUSTANG…yes, EVERYTHING is manipulation these days……… Absolutely everything….
    I’m hoping for debates as those are the least manipulative offerings; They’re naked on stage…set to go.

    BY the way, did you all see how an MSNBC producer quit and wrote a letter that she can’t be involved with an agenda which demands journalists only cover one side? 🙂 Something MAY be happening. …OR only I will have seen it and then, who cares? 😦

    There is no one who could win a debate with Trump. No one. Even if Joe was like he was at his best, he’d be easy fodder for Trump. Trump is a past master at debating. He is so much sharper than anyone in politics today from either party, he would win, so of course Joe will not debate him.
    Trump and the GOP should keep egging him to, however, and keep bugging him.

    He says it’s because she capitulated to Pelosi who’d accused Brix of being too optimistic…so he thinks Brix had to dig up something negative to play the game and please Pelosi.

    Were I Brix, I’d quit.

    Were I DJT, I’d fire both Fauci and Brix (if he suddenly dislikes her that much) now…but he can’t because Fauci has some weird hold on the media (probably thru Gates and Soros, of course. ) I believe Brix is not a game player and I hate what Trump did. I’m not alone 😦

    You’re probably right about Trump and his faith. After all, we never hear about him having been a member of a church he attends regularly. On the other hand you don’t have to go to church to be a good Christian, and vice versa. His best argument for reelection besides his outstanding first term is, unlike all other politicians, he’s not in it for either fame or fortune because he’d already had both. Who else can compete with that? If they could, they wouldn’t be willing (or care enough) to take it on. Doing so is being a real patriot, IMO.

    @Z, Jill Biden. Yep, it’s all about emotion with the left. Forget logic, they don’t have the ability so the democrat campaign has to appeal to the emotional side.
