The chief danger that confronts the coming century will be religion without the Holy Ghost,
Christianity without Christ, forgiveness without repentance, salvation without regeneration,
politics without God, heaven without hell.
William Booth
“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.”
― William Saroyan
The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of the blessings. The inherent blessing of socialism is the equal sharing of misery. -- Winston Churchill
Ignorance is not an opinion, liberals
I believe in Christianity as I believe the sun has risen; not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else. C. S. Lewis
if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

President Trump is accused of being “unpresidential”.
Well, he IS the Chief Executive, and that’s what he acts like.
If acting “presidential” is spouting platitudes and apologizing for America, I’ll take Trump.
The Wuhan Flu put all those people back on welfare and even people, like my neighbor’s son, who haven’t held a job in a couple years are getting unemployment benefits.

obama was not interested in doing anything For America or Americans. He was only interested in stealing money to help the moslems, give to his crime pals who paid his way into office, and enrich himself in any way possible. So, no interest in competent people which also tells you all you need to know about Biden.

Always, that’s true.
Bunkerville….. AMAZING
KID….There are plenty of comparisons of Obama and how almost every other president tried for peace in the ME but HIM….he favored anything ISLAM, you are so right.
ED…I will continue to say Trump could act more presidential; Yes, he is a good CHIEF EXECUTIVE but if he didn’t call people names, and did a whole lot of great things I’ve outlined here too many times, he’d probably win in a LANDSLIDE…… I’d like that.
Your neighbor hasn’t worked and is getting unemployment benefits. That’s one of those situations for which I named my blog. !!

I said even before Trump decided to run for POTUS during the last administration, instead of politicians with political science or law degrees, we needed ones with MBA’s because they understand a country needs to be run like a business and many have gone BK due to lack of sensible financial decisions. Trump’s cabinet that you show confirms this fact.
I don’t know if he would “win in a landslide”, Z. His bravado and badgering is what has kept the left at bay. If he was more presidential, they’d know they could walk all over him…….and would!

MAL…I’m not arguing this one anymore….”More presidential” does NOT mean “PATSY”.. But I’m not going to explain that one again! Done that here 1000 times, right? ..Reagan was PRESIDENTIAL, the media was rough on him but they knew they couldn’t walk over him and he won and won again.

SO DISAPPOINTED IN “OUTNUMBERED” this morning….
Newt Gingrich was the guest and blamed Soros for some of the funding of ANTIFA, etc….Melissa Francis, a conservative regular on the show and host of her own FOX BUSINESS SHOW, said “We don’t need to bring Soros into this,” to which Marie Harf, the hideous and extremely disingenuous leftie who’s on most of the time, said “No we don’t, I agreee with Melissa.”
To which Newt wisely got in a quick “I guess that’s VERBOTEN” before they took to a quick commercial.
Yes, apparently, you can’t even MENTION SOROS …..anywhere. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
I trust Melissa Francis, I believe she LOVES America……and maybe she only meant that Conservatives can sound screwy blaming SOros so often, but why not just STAY QUIET? It wasn’t like silence would be tacit agreement………..Harf, I expect nothing more from, but MELISSA FRANCIS? I’m thinking, knowing her conservative bent she almost always displays, was only fearful of sounding like a hackneyed Rightwinger, but…….just SHUT UP. Gingrich isn’t GOD. You don’t have to agree with everything he says.

I understand, Z. Re: Reagan, the left were also nicer at that time, too. Politics was a lot different in the 1980’s. Pelosi is no Tip O’Neal. Look at how they treated Sarah Palin? Even her child with Down Syndrome.

Wow!!! That 8% (Obama) and 90% (Trump) are telling! Just wow!!!
And now De Blasio says, with all the people leaving NYC, that we need to raise taxes on the rich AND “we have to redistribute income.” How about YOURS, your honor? He just announced he’d furlough his salary, but I suspect it’s a rebound from the terrible optics of “redistributing income.” To quote from his Wikipedia page: he did “a brief stint as a campaign manager for Charles Rangel and Hillary Clinton …[and] started his career as an elected official on the New York City Council. So your career never took you into the real world of working for a living.
Plus, he said restaurants would continue to be closed for indoor dining (only very reduced sidewalk dining), because dining out was “an activity for middle- and upper-income New Yorkers.” Really? Are these higher income folks the ones who 1) shop for the menu, 2) deliver food and supplies, 3) cook the food 4) serve the food, 5) bus the dishes, 6) wash the dishes, 7) clean up the restaurant, 8) ferry diners to the restaurant, 9) service the equipment, and 10) grow the food in the first place? CLUELESS!!
We hear stories of people who stayed not working because the combined state and federal unemployment benefit (of which I received ZERO) was more than their salary. Then I ran into one. My locksmith had to furlough his helper in April. When he could work again and asked him to come back to work, he did not want to – and didn’t. It was because he made a lot more in gov’t $$$. So my locksmith was working his tail off 6 days a week to keep up with customers. He’s in that 90% that President Trump hired that understands, by experience, what safely paid bureaucrats never will.

But Mal. Tip O’Neil still pulled the football out from under Reagan (a la Lucy in Charlie Brown). Just with a folksier Irish manner.

Kayleigh’s presser today was HIDEOUS.
BAYSIDER…I happen to admire O’Neil and Moynihan because I like to say “They were Dems who still understood and loved America”…..
Reagan and Tip and Pat were really quite friendly…..it’s why I also say ‘smoke filled rooms are highly underrated’…
I was thrilled to hear a Republican congressman propose that all congressional families move to D.C… I know it won’t go anywhere, but you get along better when your wives belong to the same book club and your kids are in the same classroom together.! I think it was Josh Hawley? Can’t remember….

Yeah, Baysider, when it came right down to it, “Tip” & Ron were still on opposite sides, no question about it, but we all miss their politeness and respect for one another, don’t we?

Reagan and O’Neill were not friendly after hours. It was a fabrication.

“Look to the 1980s,” some may say. “Reagan was a friend of Tip O’Neill, and they worked closely with one another. Surely if Reagan could do it and still be favored by conservatives, Trump could too, right?”
Wrong. Because Ronald Reagan and Tip O’Neill rarely worked together and were never friends. Take, for example, the speaker in July 1984: “The evil is in the White House at the present time. And that evil is a man who has no care and no concern for the working class of America and the future generations of America, and who likes to ride a horse. He’s cold. He’s mean. He’s got ice water for blood.”

Fox News began disappointing me years ago. This new example with the interview with Gingrich, Francis & Harf was illustrative as to why I no longer watch the network. You’re spot on that Francis, the conservative, should’ve remained quiet. With “conservatives” like this, we don’t need liberals. I was also struck with the dead air and Harris Faulkner’s deer-in-the-headlights stare. She didn’t handle it well.
