I would like to think that the left will be more tolerant of opposing opinions with trump gone but I do realize trump was just a figure to hate and they hate the concept of personal responsibility and free choice.

He said THIS is where the Left wants those on the TRUMP LIST they’re compiling to live..in gulags.

The Dems haven’t come to grips with the fact their party is divided and in jeopardy of being taken over by extreme Marxists and Socialists. Their hate for Trump is so bad, they’re being blinded by it. All we can hope for at this juncture is we keep a majority in the Senate and supreme court in an effort to prevent things from getting worse.

There is a letter in today’s paper titled “One Term” and why Trump lost re-election. In it he does state “Many Americans recognized the sensible accomplishments of this administration” which is the first time I’ve ever heard that from the left. It ends with “The Greek philosopher Heraclitus wrote that character is destiny. In essence, one’s fate is determined by one’s own inner character. This president.s inner character is the single biggest reason for his one-term presidency. It is what it is.” Truthfully, it’s hard arguing with that fact.

Peter….I’m hoping HARD not to argue this again, but YES, undoubtedly, too many people I know couldn’t vote for Trump, though conservatives, because of much of the blustering, etc.
DO I THINK THAT WAS DUMB AS A STUMP? OH, yes, I do.
I agree; we might not known how he felt on many subjects had he not tweeted, but knowing he calls people silly names waSn’t really enlightening at all………
I SO SO BELIEVE he was THE MAN for the job of cleaning out the swamp, and I just hope he continues. He might be because the LEft (and the Hate Trumping Right, too) are scared to death of the rumors of a new news channel owned by him, or what all else he might do.
I personally hope he continues the rallies somehow………..exposing much of what Biden will be doing; but ONLY getting the facts straight, staying less hyperbolic and SOUND.
MAL: His character is better than that he exposed at his rallies and in his tweets…but he did that, and that’s not our fault. Sadly, it lets a LOT of us down…and it greatly lets America down because this aDministration could be a total nightmare for America 😦

Truthfully, NOVID-19 gave the left the golden opportunity to conduct a sloppy, prolonged election so we really don’t know if Trump could’ve or would’ve won. It should’ve been conducted as in the past with one exception: due to social distancing, have it alphabetically over several days instead of just one, at the precincts on fool-proof, tamper-proof machines. With silicon valley’s worldwide recognition as the leader, we should be able to have it except big tech is complicit in all this.

Met another kid from Grand Cyn University yesterday who LOVES TRUMP. Ya, she’s ONE, and my Brazilian roomie and now like a son, is a total conservative, as were quite a few of his friends in High School.

Ed, Trump may not have lost because of his “tone”, but it certainly didn’t help him. I know from asking several neighbors with Biden signs in their yards why they voted for him and they all said the same thing; They hated Trump! Never a reason for voting for Biden, just hate for Trump. So yeah, I’d say his “tone’ and constant bragging may not have been the only reason but certainly hurt him in the long run.

Re Schiff: proof that elections and other decisions have consequences. That district’s wonderful rep, Jim Rogan, was defeated by Schiff (who had unusual positive name recognition from the DA in the “Law and Order” TV series) after he led the house impeachment against Bill Clinton. His district was trending Democrat and he was targeted for retribution for the impeachment. What if they had demurred from a hopeless impeachment? Or picked a congressman from a safe district to lead the charge? What if, what if.
I don’t think Trump lost for his tone. Fraud, fraud, fraud. I thought the lockdowns would get a wider spread with Biden, but then the Hunter Biden pecadillos came out. Close call.

Look at the record number of votes for Trump at the close of Nov 3rd.
If it was a matter of “tone”, it seems it would have had a greater effect on 70+M votes.

DOMINION was said this morning on Howie Kurtz’s show to be “talked about on OAN…” as if nobody else has noticed anything questionable there… so they’re already attacking OAN just in case their conservatism THERE really does reap a harvest. in the future. DOMINION is already being touted as conservative nonsense because they’re upset that it’s owned by Dems.
I saw most of Maria’s show… There absolutely was fraud..Not sure anybody really could deny that, I certainly have not…..but, as I’ve said previously, NONE of the claims of fraud are sticking. Sadly, I think only PA has even enough votes to make a difference if every state in question was recounted. Again, Trump has said Georgia should stop recounting, that they’re not following their laws as it is, so why bother again?
I was hoping someone might address the types of judges turning away Trump’s appeals…..I asked above if they’re just lefties who are using their own politics, not the law because some have apparently ignored the laws of their state.
Personality matters in any contest….

My belief was that Trump would win a second term. I am unsure why it was not accomplished. The pattern had been established by the uni-party of eight years for Democrats followed by eight years of Republicans. What changed it? Donald Trump. He was not supposed to win four years ago. and his four years will now make him the ghosted one-term American President.
I fear the Biden presidency if for no other reason because he so quickly models the political machine which wants to further strip Americans of civil liberties. Our Constitution has been shredded with COVID 19, which has provided for many false flag operations against the American people. By not masking, Trump modeled individual human liberty and free will. I appreciate him gratefully for his model. We have a private pilot friend who just returned from Sweden. He said it is a different world!
No Christmas? Biden will be an exemplary citizen of the coming totalitarian state. Nobody believes more in Communism than the members of the Politboro who retain their dachas and lifestyles against the peasants beyond the moat.
