Kim wants control of the entire peninsula and is a much bigger threat to Seoul than to D.C. He could obliterate the SoKor government in one day without use of his nukes, just standard artillery and human wave assault.
Doofus Joe has no intention of irritating China and would blither and dither if Kim moves against Moon, and I’m confident that Xi would love to sacrifice a few ships and planes to get American military presence out of east Asia.

He can’t support his army for more than a week in a large-scale war.
He is totally dependent upon China and now feels confident that the US bogus potus will backpedal on sanctions and restock his warehouses.
Both he and Xi know that war in Korea is a no-win for the US, and Kim could solve a whole lot of his domestic problems by taking over the SoKor economy. What surprises me is that it hasn’t happened already because Trump called his bluff.
Besides his nukes, which may be as many as 50 or more, Kim has some very nasty chemical and biological weapons which he would deploy instantly against US forces in SoKor and Japan. And who knows what weaponry is already locked in on our naval air stuff in the region.
US casualties from chem/bio attacks in NorKor first-strike efforts to “decapitate” US command and control response centers would be enormous and very demoralizing to an already war-weary American public. And apparently those guys over there are MUCH better at cyberwarfare than we are.
Xi and Kim realize that Pentagon planners have spitballed all that and are very likely split on the idea of responding at all to a move by Kim to invade and occupy the South. Asterisk Joe is not ready to deal with it, and Kamalho isn’t even qualified to discuss it.

SoKo is acquiring Ballistic Missile submarines and salivates at the thought of gaining it’s own nukes. It knows what an unstable partner the U.S. is.
Un does a lot of posturing for internal consumption.
We are still technically in a state of war with them.
An attack on our ally is an attack on us.
That should not be lost on even the stupid people coming into power.
Un doesn’t know what they’d do either.

In answer to your query, I’ll just say that every single bad thing that has happened to our country was either caused by or made worse by the U. S. Congress. This may not be true individually, but collectively, Congress is a historic “Who’s Who Among the World’s Biggest Idiots.” But then WE pay them to make our lives worse, so it is difficult to determine which of these is most IQ challenged — them or us.

THE ONLY DIFFERING PTS OF VIEW, AND THEY ARE RARE. …GET MOCKED..TOTALLY MOCKED. NEVER on FOX….they might laugh and argue but NO MOCK.

Bkfast this morning as tiny diced salami sauteed in butter till slightly crispy (which heightens the amazing flavor) then a scrambled egg……my brunch now is from my friend’s bakery, which she dropped off a dozen of last night; a mini cupcake…vanilla cake, vanilla frosting, and with a sugared piece of bacon on top. Well, it’s only 11 am, but it IS BACON, THAT does mean BREAKFAST…right? 🙂 HAA!!

I just did a long prayer request email to my group, including something about our country's woes and had to include the violence of the Spring/Summer as so many have forgotten and are only zeroing in on the conservatives NOW…which SO ticks me off. Thankfully, I got an email from a member I know is a Cons…she said I handled that part very well.
And I had asked for prayers for a member's friend with covid only to get a tearful call five minutes ago that the women in her Fifties died. Now I give the news to my group…so sad…beyond sad.
