Christmas…….. with a song by me….

“The hinge of history is on the door of a Bethlehem stable”   Ralph W. Sockman

“Some businessmen are saying this could be the best Christmas ever!  I always thought the first one was.”   Art Fettig

Those are two of my favorite phrases about Christmas…….had to share them.   By the way, did you know that there are more Christians TODAY than all the Christians who lived since Jesus?

Here is me singing, and playing “Mary, Did You Know?” a few years ago….sadly, it’s LIVE at a church and so it’s unproduced but I hope you’re blessed by the wonderful lyrics.

I wish you all a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS….God bless you all.

Love, Z

I love the words…. Used to be asked to sing it every Christmas Eve at church till I moved churches! Haven’t offered at my new one.

Great words, and moving melody. It gives the singer a chance to put something personal into the song. Thanks for sharing. I think I remember this one. 🙂

MAL, so glad you listened…I’ve sung jazz and Broadway over the years in clubs around here, too, mostly with small groups of amazing singers… REALLY fun.. I’m glad you liked it!

BAYSIDER, I think I’ve sung this twice at bible study…not sure….

KID, isn’t that amazing? The snow, the green lichen, and red leaves still there before the snowfall…who’da thought it could look like that? Amazing!.

You can use my first name,. Its never been a secret, or you can call me Longrange if you wish
I’ll never forget you called me when my Jackie was in the hospital on a ventilator.
That meant a lot to me. It still does.

Warren, YOU have always meant a lot to me….Just kindred spirits, I guess…even without having met! SOmething about how people comment touches us….some turn us off, some draw people to us

I remember your Jackie and that horrible time…and it means a lot to ME that it meant something to you that I called.

Not sure if you remember Priscilla, who used to comment here a lot…from L.A., great gal. She died about 10 years ago and I am in a little contact with her grandson. Today, he emailed me Merry Christmas; meant the world to me…. all because of the blogs.

    Love you back, Z
