Sunday Faith Blog

So, I hope we’re all praying for our country….it can only help, though it feels like nothing will work.   Having said that;  Here is a different Sunday Faith Blog post for me!

This made me laugh so much when I saw it that I thought maybe this would be a good way to honor the Sabbath…….LAUGHTER!!!      It’s healthy and happy to laugh!   I’d just bought a battery case when I saw this (I use plenty of  batteries)!!

Then there’s THIS ONE!!!

The two old guys sound like Pelosi and Schumer warning us that Republicans are trying to steal the upcoming elections by making it difficult for Democrats to steal the election.

And as senator Kennedy said recently, “If advanced aliens landed and asked to see our leader, it would be embarrassing.”

The pinnacle of liblogic was reached recently when a social media platform banned the inventor of mRNA technology because his comments were spreading misinformation about mRNA technology.

And Peppermint Pskaki announced that Bidenflation is a direct result of stubbron people refusing to get vaxxed . . . because of Trump — AND global warming.

That’s all I got this mornin ‘cuz I hear a cinnabun seductively whispering my name from the kitchen countertop.

As I leave the forum, tho, lemme say that what’s frightening about Slo Joe is that his first year in office will very likely turn out to be his best one.

I’ll believe in this nation once again when Soros et al get three hots and a cot. In other words a blip in the radar in 2022 and or 2024 will change little to nothing at all in our political landscape. So much for hope springing eternal.

In other news Newsome apologizes for calling thieves thieves.

You gotta wonder when you’re shopping in the market that bans those incredibly thin plastic bags (that do degrade, I tested it in the back yard years ago) and you look down at all the stuff you bought on the conveyor and much of it is encased in thick plastic.

No wonder kids are committing suicide and Will We Ever find out the limits to how much how democrats can * things up.

I pray the country gets so fubar’d that it just sits in the corner looking like it had a frontal and rear lobotomy and is unable to move or speak anymore.

As illogical as paper bags vs plastic with more and more tree killing paper bags making a comeback is FOX this morning ragging on corrupt democrat DA’s not prosecuting criminals and portraying citizens in these black cities as the victims. Should we beg to differ? Aren’t these same “victims” on the plantations the same ones keeping the corrupt democrats who are turning a blind eye to crime in office in perpetuity? Why of course they are. There’s no truth in the news, there’s no news in the truth. Ask any commie regime.

  5. kidme37 says:

Peter, I’m sure I could make a better list but:
-NY and MI governors committing murder 1 by sending covid people to nursing homes (state and fed benefit payment reduction?)
-Not only not prosecuting the diversity people but flinging the prison doors open.
-Defending the puke stain who runs down women and children (and hundreds of similar examples)
-Federal government Chock Full of known and unindicted people guilty of felony and treason.
-Kids being taught anal sex in 2nd grade, being told they can be male, female, or some beautiful jellyfish if they want.
just kinda off the top and 25 words or less.

By the next generation (if that) all these things will be considered normal. I’m serious, I pray for complete meltdown. Lets run it through the chipper and start all over again.

Laughter is good medicine — proven medically and psychologically, but recognizing humor demands higher intelligence. Someone who’s never seen an egg, or a battery case probably wouldn’t “get it.” It’s a complex topic. Someone who laughs AT someone else isn’t displaying a positive emotion; someone who laughs at a mean trick isn’t in a good place, mentally. I suppose that’s how we differentiate between having a “good sense of humor” and something else. But you’re right … we need to laugh and I’m happy to say that your humorous posts do bring a smile to my face.

I was saying to Peter recently about a car I spotted in a parking lot. Late-model car, covered from bow to stern in anti-Trump stickers. I’m not kidding when I say “covered.” Stuff like “I want Trump to die,” and something about “boiling Trump alive.” Terrible. Whoever owns that car has serious issues. There was nothing funny about any of it. Evil is never funny, and I wondered whether the car owner even realizes how evil those stickers were — or how evil he or she is.

After thinking about your post today, I thought about the political humor of Will Rogers. Who couldn’t laugh at his wit? There was some truth in every one of his quips. We don’t seem to have much of that anymore. And returning now to that “stickered-up car” I saw, I realize that yes, a good sense of humor is important, and a bad sense of humor is an alarm bell.

Thank you for this thought-provoking post, Z.

I’ve seen a couple of those vehicles Mustang. In my case, I enjoy knowing that these people are subjecting themselves to severe mental anguish to the point they probably go to sleep and wake up cursing ‘Trump’. I like that. I hope their brains are squirming like worms on hot cement without a blade of grass for shade in sight.

Ditto, the people who anguish over the democrat creatures. It’s why I never looked at, listened to or read anything obama said or did. Ditto all the evil critters running around, and being paraded on TV screens of a few programs that do that stuff. No interest in the turd buffet. I sidestep all of it and I’m sure I’m more mentally healthy as a result.

Ya gotta feel for NYC’s newly elected Afrocentric Mayor Eric Adams. With the shootings and in particular with cops shot and killed the poor guy is spending so much time spewing platitudes before the microphones in his NYPD windbreaker and pissing in the wind while his fellow negroid DA leaves criminals unencumbered to commit more and more crimes he has no time to visit his home in New Jersey. I feel more sympathy for the trees being harvested for paper bags than for the voters who continue cutting their own throats at the mail box-oops the ballot box.,

I hear ya … but I wonder at what point the owner of that car will have a cranial infarction and ram her car into someone else’s simply because they have an old, faded Trump/Pence sticker from five years back. It occurs to me that anyone “so far gone” shouldn’t be allowed to drive a car.

Would you be able to think straight if on a daily basis you ride urine soaked and fecal encrusted elevators to the 14th floor of your NYC Housing Authority apartment while at the same time dodging bullets and the homeless and drug dealers after picking up your fatherless chillins from daycare? C’mon man!

My wife uses a lot of batteries, too, Z. TONS of ’em! She has all these candles that automatically go on for 4 or 6 hours at a time, all over the house. (She also has a lighted angel next to a picture of our deceased daughter).
So…. we buy our batteries in bulk from Costco!

WELL! I had to look at my post again when I started reading the comments! What happened to JOKING our way happily and carelessly through a Sunday? HA!!! WE LIKE ANGST, PEOPLE!!!

BOCOPRO: “As I leave the forum, tho, lemme say that what’s frightening about Slo Joe is that his first year in office will very likely turn out to be his best one.”
Can’t allow myself to think how bad it can get.
Do you know it took 7 DAYS for me to get RESULTS recently after having been exposed? (I am negative again)….
PLUS, there are millions of tests in warehouses and waiting on planes to be dispersed… Since JOEY thinks they are SO IMPORTANT, why not get the National Guard to get in gear if STAFFING is the problem?

Did you have that CInnabun? mmmm

KID LIKED MY “JOKES’…..Yes yes yes….you are SO right. PLUS, it’s liberal “open minded” big Democrat loving corporations who started manufacturing soap IN PLASTIC about the same time GLOBAL WARMING became the slogan of our day! How about going back to MELTING soap bars which only need a slip of paper around the…….NO MORE PLASTIC, right?
    We might need that chipper.

PETER! SO SO funny to see Newsom cleaning up the train tracks FINALLY realizing what the heck’s happening! HE IS CLUELESS. He WON the recall despite having only THIS for anything that spoke for him: I’m NOT TRUMP, Larry Elder IS! HAAA! And people voted for him. (nobody I know, I assure you)
And I believe it’s important, and a ploy, for FOX to remind Blacks that it’s BLACKS who are their own victims.

MUSTANG: “Thought provoking post?” Which one? two jokes!?
I have to say I have NEVER seen Anti-Trump stickers like you guys are talking about! IN L.A!???? Where so many DESPISE him? NEVER!! Sure, I see PRO BIDEN stickers….but…nope!
I agree…these people are HATEFUL…and nobody should live like that!!! (But it couldn’t happen to smarter or nicer people….sarcasm, of course!) 🙂

PS, just to point out that when I wrote “trump” in quotes, I’m talking about any educated patriotic person, in favor of what most of us believe America’s culture is -or was in some cases. They hate us all. They want us dead. This I will tell you. Believe me. 🙂

Z, I see the Trump stuff occasionally, not so much anymore. I remember one small pickup truck, like a Ford Ranger, had F*** TRUMP in the largest font possible to fit on the tailgate. Then he/she had every talking point from Trump raping kids to destroying the planet, covering the sides and hood. LOL !

  17. geeez2014 says:

KID !!! “Mustang, perfection is impossible my handsome friend” The irony in this statement is hilarious!
handsome can be perfection….good one!! 🙂

They DO hate us…..but they particularly despise Trump! I actually laugh when I put CNN on from time to time and there’s some silly story about his not paying a hotel bill, or overestimating his apartment……On and ON and ON and ON…the stupidest, inane stories…
I’m sure SOROS has people digging up anything they can find on him………

Huckabee has a book for kids….
It’s FREE for now……We’ve all spoken about our KIDS….this is something at least in a positive way…probably worthless but he’s trying more than most are!

Ya, Trump has raped a TON of kids………..that was while Biden was letting kids feel the hair on his legs and breathing down the neck of 8 yr old girls!

Trump and stories…. When people realize the dems accuse the opposition of what they’re doing or plan to do themselves, things clear up quite a bit.

Maybe some kids can be gotten through to with books. Only the ones that have the right genes though. Take talent to see through the BS at that age, These Days. Who or what mechanism would put that book in the kid’s hand though ?
They’re not listening and if you force them to, it just increases the repel action of the North South magnetic forces.

There is no educating people now. Not on the needed scale. Only hard times will have a chance of really waking people up.

BUT, again, I heard of a few ex military who are running for Congress and are REALLY strongly against all this freebie stuff….I put hope in these guys. (can you say GUYS anymore?!)

HARD TIMES are pretty much here…but they can get hard enough I can’t let myself think about it….mostly because I see it happening ON PURPOSE….I am REALLY starting to believe all of this is ON PURPOSE…..they Far Left decided COVID IS THE BEST THING THAT COULD HAPPEN TO GET CONTROL. COVID is real, I’m kind of tired of people writing it off since I have at least 2 friends who died from it (nothing else…)….But the way it’s being handled NOW? Not getting tests out? Not having enough testERS? Ridiculous.
And the insults to De Santis (who, by the way, brags a lot but Florida’s covid numbers have always been way up on the bad list)…
THey’re as afraid of DeSantis as they are of Trump……..I’m hoping those two combine their talents!!

I had a friend coming tonight to chat and she just texted me she was sorry she hadn’t answered my text but she’d been “out last night” and sang in the choir this morning……I canceled it. NO WAY….singing is very iffy and they’ve warned about that because the virus can travel…, and how do I KNOW how careful she was last night…? or if someone was positive but asymptomatic?

What I HAVE to do, however, is drive every day down to the bluffs and walk overlooking the ocean…my poor car battery had to be jumped AGAIN yesterday for lack of my driving! and I NEED the fresh air and the beauty…………
This whole damn covid thing is starting to REALLY get to me………..

Z, what you said about your insurance agent and wife makes exactly my point! “They’d gone nowhere, absolutely nowhere” yet both got it. We’ve been going everywhere for 2 years now and have been fortunate in not getting it. We’ve made sure we keep our hands away from our face, which is the only place it can enter your body. We’ve been taking vitamins C, D, and Zinc daily since before the “damn-pendic” and we have HDQ and Ivermectin in case we get symptoms.
In short, we ain’t gonna stop livin’ till it finally goes away (if it ever does!). All we need to be worried about is what might be airborne by someone that has it.

  30. geeez2014 says:

MAL, that’s rare…you’ve been VERY lucky. Have you been wearing masks? What kind? Some people don’t think they’re at all effective, but I go with those who understand that the N95 does not allow a lot of virus through..anything else is rubbish.

When my relative got covid, the pharmacist wouldn’t fill the HDQ and Ivermectin prescriptions! said “We can’t sell it…it doesn’t work”…so they OVERRODE THE EXCELLENT DOC WHO PRESCRIBED IT…Finally got it in another pharmacy which didn’t ask what they wanted it for!
Anyway, the meds weren’t taken after all…….can’t remember why.

I personally don’t believe the vitamins and zinc are very helpful but plenty people do…so maybe that’s what’s helping you! I’ve always taken C and D but have too much ZInc in me so I can’t take supplements.

PETER….another of those “the sky is fallings?” oy!!

    KID…good point!

  31. MAL says:

Z, I believe the way my son explained it, the Zinc works in conjunction with HDQ and/or Ivermectin. It isn’t meant to work by itself. It acts as a booster. He is the one that sent me both drugs.

  32. “.mostly because I see it happening ON PURPOSE” The Great Reset.
Black Rock and others are borrowing to buy up property everywhere.
They put down 20-30% and mortgage the rest (borrowing dollars).
When housing prices triple (because of inflated dollars), they will sell or rent at inflated rates and pay back the mortgages with inflated dollars (worth less than they borrowed but the same numerical value). “Selling Short” on America.

  33. Your post said something about praying for America.
    Consider Imprecatory Prayer. It’s Scriptural.
Here’s an example from Psalm 120.
1 In my distress I cried unto the Lord, and he heard me.
2 Deliver my soul, O Lord, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue.
3 What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue?
4 Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.
5 Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar!
6 My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace.
7 I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.

Pray for the destruction of our enemies.
We did it in the 40s.

  34. MAL says:

Z, yes, we do wear masks not only because most places require you do, and some will even furnish one if you forget, but also because it still offers some protection despite not being 100% effective.
BTW, I read all this to Joni and she cancelled our going out to dinner tonight. Now I’m sorry I read it to her!

  35. geeez2014 says:

MAL!! OH NO!!! 🙂 I’m SO glad you’re wearing masks instinctively… So many think masks are silly…I say ‘stand next to someone with a cold who sneezes on you’’ll feel it…or , at least, the germs are everywhere around you.
This virus is even smaller…but this makes sense to ME.
I see RIDICULOUS things, like people driving alone with masks on…
Yesterday, I saw a woman walking with an 9 yr old on San Vicente Blvd…a gorgeous, WIDE street with two lanes on both sides of a very wide grassy median with big trees on it where people take walks…they were ON the median walking…two lanes of cars on both sides ..and very few cars at that…NOBODY FOR MILES…and there’s the kid with a mask. You can’t make this up!!

ED…where does that psalm mention praying for enemies to destruct? There’s plenty of Scripture against praying for anyone to die but for praying to God for peace, or for Him to take care of things…. This is a tough topic; I TOTALLY get your point….I believe this country was definitely in God’s plan even more than most things, and I don’t see Him destroying us…unless this has been part of HIS plan and GOOD will somehow prevail….

Re: real estate…..Not sure you read what I wrote the other day…Kid thinks this, too…..
Buildings in L.A. are like see-throughs…and I’m talking sky scrapers…where most employees are now working from home….once those leases are paid and nobody’s releasing, those buildings will go belly up…then their banks will……….Yes, our enemies will not only be buying most farms in our country (as they are now) but they will be buying all our real estate.

    Makes me almost sick.

  36. Baysider says:

Ed, just to clarify, you meant residential, right? Blackrock is certainly a key player in above-ask offers in residential, including whole tracts of new residential. They have the resources to make offers that a regular buyer could not get bank support on. And they buy in bulk. Planned or not, it fits the “you will own nothing and be happy” prediction of Klaus Schwab. At least the the ‘own nothing’ part.
