To borrow a phrase from our esteemed Vice President, “in terms of” going, where I’d like to see MaligNancy go is away. Specifically, away from the planet . . . but failing that, at the very least a nice long walk on a very short pier somewhere in Siberia.

For decades now Pelosi has been an aggressive carcinoma on the Murkan body politic. If ever there was an equal to Shrillary as proof of the need for abortion, especially post-partum, it’s SanFranNan. She, along with Feinstein, is a poster girl for term limits in both parts of the legislature.

Power. Greed. Blind ignorance. Elitism. Hypocrisy. My-way-or-the-highway. She has no interest whatever in what’s good for the US … only what’s good for her party and her retention of power as SOH.

Point is . . . she HAS to go to Taiwan now – to back off would be a YUGE political victory for Xi. Despite his bluster, I don’t see him doing anything more than a symbolic fly-by with bombers and CAP and maybe one of his new carrier battle groups doing a slow run through the straits.

The only escape would be a sudden illness – – a stroke . . . emergency surgery . . . end-stage gleep – – postponing any idea of travel until after mid-terms. Her towering hubris and all-consuming lust for headlines has put us in a no-win situation.

The US simply can NOT, especially at this juncture, allow Xi or anybody else to dictate where Murkan power players may or may not go where our national interests are concerned.

We’ve already tromped all over some very delicate regions of our national anatomy by our vague and non-committal stance on mainland versus nationalist China. It’s our defining characteristic – supreme klutziness in foreign affairs. Paraphrasing what Soetoro said about Sleepy Joe . . . never underestimate our state department’s capacity to screw things up.

I’ll never see 81 again, so I can speak with some credibility about the wisdom of having octogenarians in positions of power such as PotUS or SOH or even senilator. And I’m not particularly encouraged by SCotUS justices in that range, either.

Many have repeated Clemenceau’s observation that war is too important to be left to the generals. I say leadership is too important to be left to the geezers. By all means, keep them around and listen to their advice and counsel. But when the ship is about to hit the sand, let the younger lion slay the dragons.

And now . . . one of Reggie’s biddy buddies left an entire box of Krispy Kremes on my kitchen countertop, and their siren call is shutting down my higher-order cerebral functions in favor of some atavistic ultimatum from much older regions of my brain. So C U L.

Well, according to Gen. Mark Milley – chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff – if Pelosi “or anyone else is going to travel and they asked for military support, we will do what is necessary to ensure a safe conduct of their visit.”

So, might be a good time to plan our annual GEEEZ trip to Russia. I know I’d feel better with a Battalion Landing Team of around 2,500 highly motivated Marines standing by to rescue us, should we need it, against 1.5 million Russian soldiers. And I appreciate Milley’s willingness to spend taxpayer money to keep us safe.

Okay seriously, if Pelosi’s trip to Taiwan increases the chances of a massive military confrontation with mainland China, where it is possible that Pelosi’s plane could be shot down by mistake, I say “go for it. And take Gen. Milley with you.”

Bon Voyage Nancy…. have a wonderful trip and don’t hurry back… One can only wonder why her need to go and how this got to be a world-wide controversy. I thought things like this were suppose to be kept in the family. There must be more to this than meets the eye. Heck Milley got his electric tanks,, what more does he want?

  7. Mustang says:

    Electric tanks. Ha!

Let’s review: How far did Germany’s 1,400 tanks get before lack of fuel stopped them dead in their tracks (pun intended)? So the two miles per electrical charge should work out really good — for the enemy. My guess is that Milley is China’s best general.

BOCOPRO “she HAS to go to Taiwan now – to back off would be a HUGE political victory for Xi. ”
    I think so, too.

MUSTANG: “Okay seriously, if Pelosi’s trip to Taiwan increases the chances of a massive military confrontation with mainland China, where it is possible that Pelosi’s plane could be shot down by mistake, I say “go for it. And take Gen. Milley with you.”” Z: VOILA!

JG!!! “I am all for Pelosi going to Taiwan, but just do not let her come back. As for paying for security that is up to the Capitol Police.” GREAT point about the Capitol Hill Cops

FJ…CHIPS 🙂 !!!! You KNOW Pelosi’d NEVER take advantage of her position! (Sarcasm, of course!)
And DING DING DING DING! Yes, I believe it’s this: ” …or solicit illegal foreign Campaign contributions for Democrats?”

BUNKERVILLE…Dana Perino, yesterday, said it’s clear to Dana that SOMEONE LEAKED THIS TRIP….Pelosi was going to somewhere else in the region and this Taiwan trip was to be an ‘add-on’ (publicly, presented like that, anyway) and now that it’s been announced, it’s very problematic.

Seems that Tom Cotton said the same thing…check this out which I just now found:

I think it’s hilarious that the Republicans are SO behind this trip………With Milley in charge, there’s a good chance she could die (I believe he’s worthless)…….

FJ…imagine! Remember a few months ago, the WH was suggesting electric tanks and trucks in the Middle East, to which seasoned soldiers said “OH, yes, because the Middle East is liberally sprinkled with charging stations!”
    WHAT A JOKE, right?

The US Army is going electric – and wants to be net-zero by 2050

The Department of Defense has long acknowledged the danger of climate change and importance of addressing it, calling it a “threat multiplier,” which will exacerbate many of the challenges the armed forces have to deal with, and recently acknowledging it as an “existential threat,” which the DoD needs to act on. In October, the DoD released a Climate Risk Analysis detailing these risks.

We face all kinds of threats in our line of work, but few of them truly deserve to be called existential. The climate crisis does… Climate change is making the world more unsafe and we need to act.

MY FOX….interesting………………. I wonder how much of her decision is based on HAVING TO because of a bad leak (and what evil she’s up to in order to get back at the leaker….They’ll FIND this leaker, of course, but not the leaker about the abortion bill and SCOTUS, that’s disappeared..OF COURSE)….. OR how much is based on PRIDE that the world knows she’s going and now it’d look dangerous to her to go; at which time she suggested a Republican should go to….like ‘

“My loss to America would be SO terrible that I demand I take down a Republican with me ..” 🙂

If Trump were seated instead of that 0bama sock puppet who keeps pooping his pants after guzzling down gallons of ice cream in 1 setting, passing long and loud stinky blasts in front of dignitaries and celebrities, we’d be facing something a bit different.

    Mustang – them’s strong words!

What if “If Speaker Pelosi visits Taiwan, it would seriously violate the one-China principle … It will have a severe negative impact on the political foundation of the China-US relations, and send a gravely wrong signal to ‘Taiwan independence’ separatists forces.”

    were re-written in 1938 as:
“If the Home Secretary visits Prague, it would seriously violate the one-Germany principle … It will have a severe negative impact on the political foundation of the German-UK relations, and send a gravely wrong signal to ‘Czechoslovakia as an independent nation’ forces.” [at least Czechoslovakia, carved out of the Hapsburg empire, was only 20 years old at the time!!]

PROBLEM: This is all in the Chinese voice.
Whose principle is the “one-China” rule? Not ours! (I hope)
Is the political foundation of our relations with a nation based on walking away from a long-term ally? (Sadly, I’m not sure the answer to this is no.)
In whose view is this ‘signal’ wrong?

Pelosi once unfurled a Tianamen Square memorial banner in Tianamen Square. Her husband and son subsequently got favorable business arrangements in China and she toned down. Did they retire?

Pelosi is too cagey to casually blurt out something like this. Is it a signal to test resolve? Weigh opposition? I tend to think it’s being done to flush something out. Years ago Henry Kissinger said “When the Chinese don’t need us they are going to be very difficult to deal with.” Maybe someone is doing a temperature check. So … let her go and have a nice vacation. I’d much rather it happen with Trump in the WH, “I’m happy to announce Nancy will be conducting a good will visit with one of our strongest allies, and Jared will be accompanying her.” A more ominous thought is it is more staged than we think … and she’s going to set up a scene for delivering a “message” to Taiwan.

Way too many people have too much at stake to tick off China. See Red Handed: How America Power Elites Get Rich Helping China Win by Peter Sweitzer.

PS – and why would Nancy be the one to deliver a ‘message’? Even if the president were competent, it would be too clear to all. In his current muddle his ‘message’ might not be taken as seriously as his threat to cut off loan guarantees to Ukraine if they didn’t fire the prosecutor going after his son’s dealings. The VP is an unbelieved lightweight. Pelosi is sharper and carries more gravitas than the 2 of them together.

There was a prophecy in late 2020 that aired on the Jim Bakker show and on Sid Roth’s It’s Supernatural where the prophet saw Trump getting needed rest , but was not called President Trump during the time he rested. What we see now is Trump in exile, getting recharged to fight back, this time with more of us engaged and fighting alongside with him.

  26. Baysider says:

I like Trump and I like his pugilistic nature for our time. The Marxists have worked overtime from Nov 2016 to damage him, and it’s working. Not sure he’ll be as effective. They now know his playbook. Still, seeing all those ordinary Americans of every color and stripe interviewed on J6 before the trouble, his base of support was frightening to the left. “Red and yellow black and white he was precious in their sight.” Truly scary to the left.

  27. MAL says:

Bay, its true Pelosi is cagey, but at times she can be very stupid. Remember her remark during the Obama Administration when he presented a bill with over 1,000 pages?
She said “We gotta pass it so we can see what’s in it.”

  28. geeez2014 says:

BAYSIDER, we all like his pugilistic nature but it didn’t work in the long run. DeSantis has the very same thing but resists using schoolyard silly name calling in public, etc….DeSantis must be president next or we’re literally DONE.

We don’t know WHO leaked that she’d be including Taiwan on this trip but it was a bad idea. I’m sure you know ANYTHING we do with Taiwan’s been threatened by China over and over again and going TO Taiwan is seen as supporting them, which China will NOT take lying down.
Sadly, General Millie gets involved now and I don’t believe anything he gets involved with ends well. Mustang’s right…”take Millie with you……….bon voyage!”

MYFOX, maybe God can not only recharge Trump but teach him to be a mature adult…..People despise him not for all the good he did (which the Left does well at covering up) but for the name calling and HUGE ego……he could have done without that and still been president.
I hope God’s working on him…I don’t see it as I see his reactions to the 1/6 hearings getting uglier and nastier every day 😦

  29. Baysider says:

DeSantis has really shone in the wuflu disaster, hasn’t he? His leadership is superb. And yes, I like that he doesn’t resort to schoolyard taunts. That playbook worked well for Trump for some time. But the left is geared for that with offense in depth.

  30. MAL says:

In all fairness to Trump, they went after him as he and Melania came down the escalator announcing his candidacy and kept it up during his entire term. And they never stopped even after he left office. TOTALLY unfair! He was a different person when talking to dignitaries around the world. Like him or not, they respected his abilities and knew he was truly acting in our behalf.
Unlike other politicians he didn’t need to enhance his wealth.
if DeSantis does get the nod, they’ll do the same to him, you can bet on it. Remember Sarah Palin?

  31. geeez2014 says:

BAYSIDER, a LOT of my conservative friends LOVE Trump’s nasty digs and schoolyard behavior; I never have because I’m not used to it in A. Adults and B. Politicians. But, yes, some love it……And yes, the Left has geared it up as OFFENSIVE. Actually, it IS.
And DeSantis does all Trump did without the ugly stuff! I like him! I like Trum p, too….WISH he was president; and he could have been.

MAL: I agree..I know people who’ve met Trump and find him warm and charming…he needed to show that, media or not. As I’ve said here before, it would have STYMIED the media, REALLY shaken them up. I’m convinced of that, though they’d never stop.
They’ll do the same to Ron, but can’t much.

I always didn’t like Palin…not after the first 2 wks.

  32. MAL says:

Why? She didn’t ask to be McCain’s running mate; The party did.
What? You don’t like Moose Stew, Z?

  33. geeez2014 says:
