Integrity Loses. Again. It’s not PC enough.

There is so much that is important in this article.   A man with integrity being taken down for that integrity, knowledge, wisdom, experience, and daring to suggest safe sex concerning Monkey Pox in what NY’s governor ridiculously refers to as “a state of emergency.”    “You can’t tell gay men not to have SEX! What’s wrong with you!  You can’t even tell them HOW to have safer sex so they STAY HEALTHY, you’re a homophobic freak!” suggests the Left in NYC.

This article, to me, says so much about our country in so many ways……..Almost painful to read it.

San Francisco didn’t cancel its’ “Leather Fest“… which speaks volumes on this subject.

I guess Gays are immune from having to quarantine or isilate like the rest of us…

The left sure knows how to beat their own bongos! And Hochul is a typical liberal bimbo.

Did DS attend the Leather Fest, -FJ? I haven’t paid a visit to his stinky hate dump in a while to see what he’s shamelessly oinking about.

    FOX…what a DS? A blogger?

You guys are RIGHT….glad you realized how RIDICULOUS this whole thing is…..
Yes, FJ…I guess gays are immune…..Well, we keep hearing how WONDERFUL they are, maybe this is just another example!??

THanks, guys…glad you caught my point….unreal!!

DS is a blogger, Dervish Sanders. And no, I doubt it. He’s too cheap to travel out of TE.

It’s a sad day indeed when it’s no longer safe for homosexuals to play hide the sausage with monkees.

    Peter…PUL EASE! 🙂 HAA!!

But, truly, imagine they allow political correctness to be more important than protecting ANYBODY?
I’m hearing a lot of monkey pox in California but I’m thinking it’s SAN FRANCISCO and the TENDERLOIN District.

    FJ…thanks, I think I’ve heard of Dervish.

So the Health Dept. wants to substitute fanciful narratives and contentless thoughts for facts to make people feel good? Open your mouth and get tagged as a Jonah and get thrown overboard. There. THAT will solve the storm of political blowback.

What is more compassionate? Giving people reasonable advice on how to protect themselves or staying quiet and letting an illness spread lest you offend someone? It’s not like he’s suggesting the most likely people get forcibly removed to an offshore quarantine facility (as the Governor Hochul recently tried to enact with energy! Yes she did). No one can deny that common male homosexual practices have led to higher rates of communicable disease. Pale redheads like me have higher rates of sunburn. Myriads of people “not like me” prescribe protections. So … do I ignore them? Or evaluate them? How hard is that!

Everyone has life or genetic circumstances that make them more vulnerable to one health insult or another. The grown up recognizes this and responds to fact-based narratives. When optics conflict with data – watch out!

Let’s all give thanks there’s no ferretpox or french poodlepox surfaceing … yet.

BAYSIDER…My EXACT point..”What is more compassionate? Giving people reasonable advice on how to protect themselves or staying quiet and letting an illness spread lest you offend someone?”
Honestly, between you and me, it almost brought tears to these old eyes…..they can’t help people stay alive if it might get in the way of their sex practices?!
    Hochul is a monster.
I suppose the argument by some would say “Gays can stop sexual practices if they don’t want to get sick”, that you can’t change your pale redhead skin…..but HONESTLY!? You’ve been told to stay out of the sun..AND YOU DO!!!!! Does the Left find gays STUPID?!!

    PETER….HA! True!!

  11. -FJ says:

    o/t – R.I.P Vin Scully.

  12. geeez2014 says:

FJ…. I almost did a whole post on Vin today……..he was the soundtrack of my childhood…Dad would sit in ‘his chair’ in front of the fire place at home…in the den….TV with golf on, radio on table nearby with baseball on, smaller TV on fireplace hearth with football on……….honestly! And CHICK HEARN…the BEST basketball caller EVER…..
I’m a huge basketball fan and watch it sometimes…don’t follow baseball too much, but Vin was a hero of mine….
Thanks for bringing it here…Once I decided not to post on him, I forgot to mention it.
I loved Vin Scully. Dead at 94.

Did you know Chick Hearn was 85 when he died and probably would have lived a lot longer had he not fallen at his home and died of his injuries 3 days later 😦 I adored him.

Peter, ferret pox, French poodle pox. Why not? At least they’re animals, not a bird!

To not call out people most at risk is dereliction of duty. Even in covid, for all of its MANY faults, lies and subterfuges, it was not verboten to warn who was most at risk.

This reminds me of a college that got in trouble for posting assault alerts with a description of the criminal. Once the criminal was black, it was verboten to mention race. Why? Under the rubrick of ‘not offending’ a suspect matching the description of “black, heavy set male who moved with a slight limp” you would have to strike the words, black (racism), heavy set (fat shaming), male (gender presumption), moved and limp (able-ism) would all be stricken leaving the description as “with a” being the suspect to watch out for.

  15. MAL says:

SO TRUE, BAY! We can’t do anything today that can’t be twisted into something unintentionally.

  16. geeez2014 says:

BAYSIDER>..very true, yes, it’s a good analogy, sadly!!!

    MAL…at least they’re not BATS 🙂
and yes, everything DOES get twisted….INTENTIONALLY!

  17. MAL says:

True, Z. Both bats and chickens are technically fowl, but the similarity ends there, doesn’t it?
The old saying “She eats like a bird” when describing a thin person.
Heck. The bird could be a vulture!
