Please help !

I had my hip replaced Monday…the doc said it was even worse than he’d seen in XRays so I’m very grateful to have done it.

Please pray for LESS PAIN and a speedy recovery!

Thanks SO MUCH!

Love, Z

Hang in there, the pain is only bad for the first couple of weeks. I’ve had both hips replaced, at different times, around 1999, 2004. I’m about 100 lbs too heavy and, still, both hips are a non issue for the past 20 years. Right knee was replaced in the early 90’s, it is also a non-issue, but, my left knee is miserable, but I gotta loose some weight before another surgery. Best wishes to getting mobile again without pain, it will come, and it will be worth all the efforts.

One hip, both knees and both shoulders replaced. It’s doable, don’t be stubborn with the pain meds and get physical therapy.

YOu’re all so nice….I expected nothing else but your sweet kindness.
    THANK YOU.
Chuck, good to know…glad you’re okay…very reassuring to me.

FOX, I THINK SO! I should tell a few “God stories” that happened the day of surgery…. Maybe I will this Sunday.

I’m getting in and out of bed easier (my bed is HIGH so it’s troublesome) and walking with the walker much easier, etc.

    THANK YOU, dear friends!

OH WOW! I didn’t realize you were having that kind of trouble, Z. DEFINITELY prayer are coming your way. How are you handling it? Don’t you usually need someone there 24/7 in the beginning to help?

How are you getting to re-hab, Z? After Joni had her broken femur surgery last year we had to go for physical therapy in addition to the home visits. How soon will you be able to drive?

There’s a lot of benefits in sticks. (Its all we had when I started driving during WW ll).
Easier to start with a dead battery; Less maintenance & cheaper to repair, etc.

I LOVE to drive and like the involvement with a stick……..except never loved it going up a steep hill and hitting a red light!! But I handled it somehow 🙂
