Ah yes … the United Nations — no question a blessing to mankind and deserves a lot of money-love — because, as we all know, were not for the UN, then:
* Tens of thousands of Christians would still be alive today;
* Hundreds of little black girls wouldn’t have been raped and impregnated by tribalists dressed in UN Peace Keeping uniforms;
* There would be a lot less anti-semitism in the world;
* Thuggish dictators would have been tossed out of office years ago;
* Tens of millions of people would still be alive because DDT would still be in use for eradicating Dengue Fever and Malaria, and
* Hundreds of corrupt UN officials would be in jail for violating (gasp) UN resolutions.
Yep — we should all get behind the UN and give it more money. What a blessing the UN turned out to be … kind of right up there with the Obama presidency.

He’s about as qualified to be HHS Sec’y because he supports government-funded abortion as Pete Bootyjudge is qualified for Transportation Sec’y because he once rode on a train.

Peter and I are trying to organize a 503(c) called American Lives Matter (ALM) Global. Of course, we both know that ALM isn’t true; otherwise, our government wouldn’t be sending our soldiers to die in the Middle Eastern cat box for no good reason, but that’s beside the point.
The point is that we’re trying to get rich — all part of that “self-interest” thing I’m always yammering about. We want to get really rich people (and UN member states) to send us gazillions of dollars. We’ll then organize “peaceful” demonstrations in communities like Portland, where we promise not to burn down the city if they cough up eleventy-thousand dollars for our cause.
Yes, it’s true that our organization is modeled on the Rainbow coalition (only — full disclosure — staffed with mainly white guys), but in a completely transparent and fully integrated society, that shouldn’t matter. We might have invited Kid (also known as Mr. CheapO) to join us in this endeavor, but (at least so far) he’s been unwilling to produce $50,000 in seed money.
If anyone else is interested in joining the group (with the expectation of making gazillions later on) (although we make no such assurances), please send your check to Peter. We’ve decided to use the Rockefeller Building as our new headquarters. We’ve rented a broom closed on the 75th floor, but we intend to branch out into an executive sweet once the other 5 floors are constructed.
And remember, ALM is American-owned and operated as a tax-exempt enterprise, kind of like BLM Global, only different.

Something I keep wondering is how many of the other countries around the world are in debt too? Or are they debt free while we go in deeper and deeper to help them? We rarely hear about THEIR finances, not that it is our responsibility. Yes. Help if we are in a position to by being debt-free ourselves first. Then there’s all the giveaways for our own people, like free tuition for students and illegals, and giving them stimulus checks instead of deporting them!
What suckers we’ve been! We can’t even balance our annual budget, let alone begin to pay off our debt, yet our politicians want to spend more and more and more………….

Our debt is at 79.2% of GDP. British debt is 84% of GDP. French debt is over $3 trillion. German debt is 60% of GDP. Spanish debt is around €2 trillion. In Turkey, the debt is around 34% of GDP, but the country is still in trouble with its falling currency. Makes you wonder why anyone embraces leftist economic models. Maybe all the world’s leading economists went to the best schools where economic theory is always preferred to economic reality.

FOR INSTANCE, I was watching the protest this morning in NYC…..about CUOMO and NURSING HOMES…PLENTY of signs saying ” YOU KILLED MY MOM”, etc….all different ways of saying that.
That message is known, and sure, they should have those signs, but these are the signs I WOULD HAVE USED to make sure people actually start to THINK because it’s SO IMPORTANT on so many levels, financially and emotionally:
WHY DIDN’T YOU USE THE MERCY SHIP?
WHY DID YOU NOT SEND COVID PATIENTS TO THE JAVITS CENTER?
THAT is what’s needed………….get those media cameramen who try to hide that stuff unable to AVOID showing the TRUTH.
THAT’s what they should have said on some of those signs; educate the public, bring these facts to their attention.
Now, people on Cuomo’s staff are saying he sexually harassed them…..this is coming out today.
What do you want to bet that’ll become more important than having KILLED THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE. Sex sells 😦

Z, What an excellent comment. I could not possibly agree more. I could have written it. Ny Governor is one of a number of dem governors who did the same thing – Send the infected to nursing homes. It was all done to jack up the covid numbers.
Problem is no one of import cares enough to do anything. Repubs haven’t done anything of importance in my lifetime. Interstate highway system maybe. Now we know all the federal agencies are criminal and corrupt.
Did the mob threaten Barr? Why did he take the job? Did they threaten him that he better take the job and sit on his thumb? These and many more questions never answered in the next episode of It’s Over. Find out how people do well in banana republics is my thought.

Because the repubs went from useless to worthless now to just a shade above democrat. So I pay no attention to any of them. Not worth the time or brainpower. If people still vote for these scum I’ll be surprised – but then I can see where red states will want to stay red even if it’s by having worthless slugs in office. If I lived in Texas or Florida I guess I’d vote to keep them as they can be useful on the state level.
In Ohio I won’t vote for a one of them.

Cuomo also killed many disabled adults living in congregate care settings. Like nursing home residents, their homes were forced to take them back in without asking the nature of their hospitalizations. Families were frantic. Very hard to get a placement in a ‘good’ home, so if their loved ones were ‘temporarily’ taken to live at home they would lose their place and may take a very long time to re-enter the system. Think the brother of the Kris we know – that situation. Good take on the signs. Show personal injury AND raise big picture questions.
So disappointed in Nikki Haley. People are a package with pros and cons, but that is over the top.

The woman cries, telling her story of a racist encounter with ‘white privilege’ (starting 1:22) is painfully convincing but not – er – truthful! She’s a state politician, so it got a lot of play. The man she accused – SURPRISE! – showed up at her press conference and told HIS SIDE of the story. It didn’t agree with hers. He wouldn’t back down, either, and reporters then asked for his side. Rare. But it does happen.

I read once that prior to us having an income tax, we were not in debt; that we only got into debt after we imposed an income tax.
