 Hello. Don’t recognize me?That’s OK; I understand. My name was Antonio West.I was the 13-month old child who was shot in the face at point blank range by two black teens who were attempting to rob my mother, who was also shot.
I think my murder and my mommy’s wounding made the news for maybe a day, and then disappeared. A Grand Jury of my mommy’s peers from Brunswick, Georgia ruled the black teens who murdered me will not face the death penalty… too bad it was me who got the death sentence from my killers instead, because Mommy didn’t have the money they demanded. See, my family made the mistake of being white in a 73% non-white neighborhood, but my murder wasn’t ruled a ‘hate crime’. Oh, and President Obama didn’t take a single moment to acknowledge my murder. He couldn’t have any children who could possibly look like me – so why should he care? I’m one of the youngest murder victims in our great Nation’s history, but the media didn’t care to cover the story of my being killed in cold blood. There isn’t a white equivalent of Al Sharpton, because if there was he would be branded a ‘racist’. So no one’s rushing to Brunswick, Georgia to demonstrate and demand ‘justice’ for me. There’s no ‘White Panther’ party, either, to put a bounty on the lives of the two black teens who murdered me. I have no voice, I have no representation, and unlike those who shot me in the face while I sat innocently in my stroller – I no longer have my life. Isn’t this a great country? So while you’re out seeking ‘justice for Trayvon Martin or Michael Brown’, please remember to seek ‘justice’ for me. Tell your friends about me, tell your families, get tee-shirts with my face on them, and make the world pay attention, just like you did for Trayvon and Brown. I won’t hold my breath. I don’t have to anymore. Z: I checked SNOPES and found that they call this MIXTURE, instead of TRUE or FALSE. HERE is the link, maybe you can help me see where they prove anything isn’t true enough to call it TRUE. man. Snopes gets caught again. ugh |

We all know what SNOPES is about, but they’re so shameless in their misinformation I’m hoping you’ll go to my link after reading this story and tell us how YOU think this rates not TRUE but MIXTURE 🙂 (meaning some truth, some falsity…where?)
Ed…good point….no problem with thousands of abortions in the black community, apparently…so sad. As you know, this is the community Margaret Sanger planned PLANNED PARENTHOOD for and now this community takes their children to the slaughter she planned out.

The Snopes article doesn’t seem to focus on the veracity of the text, but the comparison of it to Trayvon, etc. Which is not what you’d hope for from a “fact checker”.
The good news:
On 30 August 2013, De’Marquise Elkins was convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison. His mother Karimah Elkins was convicted of tampering with evidence and sentenced to ten years. Dominique Lang testified against Elkins, and his trial is still pending.

This kid matters. We’ve all seen black kids being abused by their “parent’s…youtubes of them smoking dope at 5 or using profanities while the “adults” all laughed and shucked and jived over how cute the little thug was being. 9 of them to a Buick or a hotel room with 15 kids and the mother screaming..”who’s gunna take care of my keeds” by 6 different ‘men”. You know.
So..: I hope this warms you up…..UPS has started its “Your Wishes Delivered” promotion, and a special little boy got a very special surprise!
Carson Knight was unable to drink milk as a baby so his mom had to order formula that was delivered to her door by UPS. Thus started a little boy’s friendship with a UPS driver named Ernie. UPS created a video about the relationship between Carson and Ernie .
According to the driver, he delivered to Carson’s house 2 to 3 times a week. He said at first Carson just looked out the window at him. Now, at four years old, he rushes to give Ernie hugs. And more than anything, Ernie said:
“Carson has always wanted to be a UPS driver and today we’re going to make his wish come true.”

When I first saw this I also checked Snopes. I had SAME REACTION. They distract with a straw man to steer away from the truth that leaves the story intact but buried under a confusing sidebar.

Ed, the comparison to Trayvon was so clear, yet Snopes couldn’t allow it, could it…that might make it look bad for those who insist this is ALL about White on Black crime.
Baysider, friends sent it to me and checking snopes confirmed my desire to post this….it’s such a perfect example of the difference in how deaths of blacks and whites are treated.
Check out “Ducky” at AOW’s….or other sites; it’s ALL about grammar or straw men….He did that here for years (banned now, but still reads it) picking the most innocuous part of a really important post and nagging about that one point that has a slight air of either insignificance, or touts a GOP politician (they’re ALL bad, don’t forget, in Ducky’s poor little world), or something in that WHOLE true piece isn’t 100% true and that’s what he pounces on. In his world, that negates ALL the truth! The world expert in straw men. And quite typical of a lot of the Left.
Of course, I think the Right does it, too, but not like the Left does…..
after all….if we did, we’d all know there are actually Democrats who mess up, too!! 🙂

Everybody that I know who uses SNOPES is a hard core, dyed-in-the-wool Liberal. They love to play ‘gotcha’ (in their mind) with it. I think it’s operated by a couple of 1960’s burn-outs in the famous bastion of fruits and nuts known as San Francisco . I don’t know if Nancy Pelosi is on their staff or not .

Snopes is not reliabe. Pretty much anybody can be a “fact checker”. In fact everybody should do their own fact checking. It’s not hard to do. Google will do most of the work. Why do we need fact checkers. anyway?
