I just watched Democrat NY candidate for governor tell her sycophantic crowd that “The Republicans are going to accuse us of bringing to America S O C I A L I S M no matter what we do, so we might as well DO IT!” (BIG applause….the word ‘socialism’ said with a hiss, as if we were accusing them of bringing CHOLERA to America)
THIS IS THE TYPICAL, VERY WELL DONE LEFTWING MEME; You make the group which is against something awful look like idiots for being against that awful thing, thereby promoting protective feelings toward that awful thing. Voila. It’s been done for YEARS by the Left, and it’s here again.

I wish I wasn’t right sometimes….just heard the really sensible WSJ guy, Henninger, talk about my point; that many Republicans, particularly women, are tired of the blustery rhetoric of Trump…they don’t like listening to him. He’s hearing it grates on them, they’re turned off……..I also spoke to who I thought was a REAL lib at a church meeting last week, but learned at a wedding Sat. night that he’s actually an Oklahoma-born good ol’ boy Republican who just ‘hates Trump’ and has legit fears even about the tariff thing…
Ya, ya….we know they probably won’t vote for DEMOCRATS. Particularly now that Dems are going so far Left. (and that could work for Trump)
BUT, we all know that it’s said that “If all Christian Conservatives had voted during the Obama election, Obama wouldn’t have won”…We don’t want to turn them off!!
Trump needs to continue to do what he’s doing, take good advice, NOT TALK TO MUELLER, and stop the tweeting that people are really wearying over.
A FOX gal, this morning, was right when she said “You know Trump’ll come out of the Mueller interview, if he does it, and tweet what he told him……….”
Sad many of us believe that to be true.
Please God DO NOT LET TRUMP SPEAK TO MUELLER….Trump never stops talking, he will ruin himself.

Is this the new America? the NASCAR President is arrested, under the influence, and the cops tell the media that he name-dropped Trump (and the article stipulates that he’d supported Trump, so I guess his driving under the influence is now Trump’s fault, too?!!) and that he had oxycodone in his possession. I’m thinking that’s PRIVATE and he could have a real need for a pain killer, not doing it for fun?
I found this hideous…of course, NASCAR gets the leftwing media excited because it’s just about the only sport group left which likes Trump…and then to imply France is a buddy so……….SO WHAT?

I recall a form of Socialism getting popular during the Great Depression of the 1930’s called Technocracy. Its symbol was a circle with a lazy “S” down the middle. One half red; the other, white. It would replace money with credits of “Ergs”. One hour of work earned one Erg. When discussing this later during an economics class at USC, a student asked how they would compare, say, a brain surgeon with a ditch digger, to which the Prof. answered “They had physical Ergs and Mental Ergs” and everyone broke up laughing. Technocracy dropped out of sight after Pearl Harbor ended the depression.

Obama Jarrett and Soros have been planning and plotting hunkered down and working on their get out the vote. They are on the colleges en masse stirring and registering.. Thats what I worry about.. What are we doing?

I worry about that also, Bunkerville. Free stuff sounds good to students faced with hundreds of thousands of dollars in student loans. They don’t understand (or care) who will pay for it because they don’t realize government doesn’t MAKE money, only SPENDS it. Hopefully, there will be enough intelligent people voting that realize this.
