Speaking of ridiculous Republican’s hearings and other exercises in futility Louisiana’s Kennedy’s going nowhere folksy-isms rank right up there with t_ts on a bull. How about they spend what precious time is left before November and introduce some party cohesiveness and common sense maneuvering to take back the Senate and expand their razor thin House majority. There’s as much chance of that as there is of American Jewry never forgetting.

I think a LOT of what our students are taught about McCarthy falls under that same narrative. ”Crazy” ”Conservative freak” ”Wrong all the time” ”Ruined careers”
I distinctly remember reading an article in the LA Times, maybe 40 years ago now! ….it was written by the children of some of those who’d come before McCarthy as communists.;..these children all said their parent WAS a communist…!! There was to be a series on this…I eagerly looked forward to the Second in the series; it never appeared. Period. Gone.

Good for him. There are a LOT who are not being transparent about the border. Brett Weinstein joined Michael Yon in Panama and both reported on two completely different streams of traffic in separate camps and using separate means of transport to get through the rough spots.
There are the hopefuls from all over the globe who fly into Equador (which has no visa requirement) and trek north, ending up in a refreshment camp north of the Darien Gap. Then there are the military age Chinese males who often hire a boat around the tough part and even stop for vacation on the way, and congregate in their own Panama base. They are openly hostile to the inquires or even photography of all outsiders who are free to circulate in the other non-Chinese camp. It does not take a genius to see what is going on.
How “worried” is Wray about this Trojan migration traveling under the shield of impoverished masses to sneak into our country? Afraid of being called a racist by doing your job to protect the American public? Or in on the cabal? This is hardly new news.
