You’re the President of Columbia….

WHAT WOULD YOU DO ABOUT ‘PROTESTS’ LIKE THIS?

Would the ‘protesters’ be able to continue if they were insulting Blacks or Asians or gays? (God forbid)    Answer: no way

DO YOU BELIEVE THIS IS ABOUT PALESTINIAN LANDS OR HATING JEWS?  And don’t the pro-Hamas dopes understand how Hamas has treated Palestinians?!  These are young people many of whom are wearing covid masks OUTSIDE!   Are they stupid enough to believe they can still get covid and get it outdoors, or is that to cover their faces so their parents and friends don’t have to see on TV quite how stupid they are?

SO….IF YOU WERE PRESIDENT, OR GOVERNOR, OR THE PRESIDENT OF ONE OF THE UNIVERSITIES WITH THIS SITUATION, WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

I’ll wager that few of the protestors realize the extent to which they are being manipulated and controlled by Islamist organizations that have infested our colleges and universities for the past 50 years.  I’ll also bet that only a small percentage know what it is they’re protesting.  What surprises me is that there are no widespread “demonstrations” in state and federal prisons coast to coast – Islamist organizations also control our prisons.  And you’ll no doubt notice how quiet the Islamist representatives in the House have been during this same period of time.

What would I do if I were the president of Columbia University?  I’d resign in disgrace.  But I’m not; the person who undoubtedly supported Cloward-Piven is, so there you have it.

The problem is that most colleges and universities have lost their way.  They’re no longer in the education racket.  They’re sports promoters in league with professional franchises, embracing social justice causes, charging more and delivering progressively less quality of education.  I’m not sure I understand why any parent will waste their money on sending their children to such “institutions of higher learning.”  That, by itself, is a bald-faced lie.  So, the presidents of colleges and universities have no hesitation in allowing such disgusting demonstrations to go on … and they may actually encourage it.  Whatever the result, it isn’t good for America.

@ Mustang — don’t forget Alinsky. Another gem produced in America from red parents.

Especially the women have no idea what lies ahead of them as they rush full tilt to find themselves a Muslim man, and wrap their head in a scarf. The man? A trophy wife that is in for one heck of a ride. After all, isn’t that in the Koran? I am a little rusty there.

The Gays are in for an even bigger surprise. They will find a short ride off a high roof.

MUSTANG: Absolutely correct. Especially “I’ll also bet that only a small percentage know what it is they’re protesting. “ One FOX news person asked some protesters weeks ago if they knew what “From the river to the sea” meant and they didn’t….and they looked like deers in the headlights! ”Oh, you mean, Kill all Jews? Gee, we don’t mean THAT!” uhoh!!

SAM: ALINSKI ALINSKI ALINSKI…. I mention him a LOT around here…..he started a LOT of terrible stuff….people cling to him…like Hillary Clinton. Didn’t she dedicate her thesis to him?

If Colleges were in the teaching business, they’d be better controlling this whole protest thing.

BUNKERVILLE…that’s a perfect example of these kids NOT KNOWING what they’re fighting for. Bravo.  Gays; beware..

These “We are Hamas” dopes don’t even KNOW they’re jeopardizing the freaks among them.

EVERYBODY; KARL ROVE just got such a swipe at Trump in…..they’re interviewing him about the immunity of a president…and what’s he bring up? MIKE PENCE. ”I’m not sure if what Trump did to get Pence to overturn the electoral college will be considered a case of immunity..”

When we ALL KNOW, KARL, that the bigger picture re immunity is a president who feels he must go to WAR, or raise TAXES, or other choices…..

No, Rove, who has such a Trump-hating Chip on his shoulder brings up the Pence thing…..typical. Subtle……….but there.

I don’t know what Mr. Trump’s attorneys are arguing today at SCOTUS; they didn’t check in with me first (if you can believe that), but personally, I don’t see former presidents having any immunity from prosecution.  I view the entire Trump-Court story as a lesson in bank account arrogance.  So first, what kind of man pays for sex?  Second, if you did it (more than once), why try to hide it?  Third, given our society today and its technology, did Trump seriously think that his enemies wouldn’t find out and use it all against him?  Last, if the answer to number three is yes, should such a moron be president?

None of us are perfect, but at least some of us are trying to improve who and what we are.  Trump seems incapable of learning much of anything from past mistakes. I know Mr. Trump must be tired of the legal harassment – I sure am.  I’m ready to turn the page now.  Except that now Arizona Democrats are doing lawfare, too.

Is this what we have to look forward to over the next four years? If so, I’m ready to vote for Alfred E. Newman.

MUSTANG: It’s huge, what’s being argued today and I’ve got it on before I run to Bible study this morning……

Could we have had a trial against Truman for the nuclear bomb on the Enola Gay?
Could we have had a trial for FDR prolonging the depression for what he did (according to many economics experts?)

Could Obama be taken to court for losing the men Hillary got killed (I can’t remember the name of the city… but we lost our ambassador that night)

Can a president be taken to court for raising taxes?

I think I’m right on this……MANY things could have been brought to trial after a pres was out of office…. but they were not, imagine?

Trump’s personality doesn’t have much to do with this, his peccadillos, etc., they don’t seem relevant to ME…..I agree, the man rarely learns, though I Do see him somewhat mellowing lately…

I think Trump felt nobody’d find and use it on him because so many other presidents haven’t been found and had it used on them. He gets ‘special treatment,’ of course.

They want us tired of the indictments, they want HIM tired (as if he could be)…

How could this immunity protection of presidents not come up before in the SCOTUS? Blows my mind. And throws more light on why this should not be happening.

  8. Mustang, you are assuming he did the thing with the porn star.

She has previously denied it ever happened.

I find it incredulous that a guy with his bucks, who doesn’t drink, would settle for an STD ridden porn star. He could do way better than that.

ED…I saw a letter by Stormie Daniels saying none of this happened…on pretty official looking stationery….but it was on Gateway Pundit, a friend sent it to me, so I don’t 100% buy it.

I’m hearing today they’re going bankrupt, by the way…GP, not Daniels 🙂

You have a firm deadline to fold your tents and remove yourself from campus within 24 hours. Or else!!! Or else what? We’ll backpeddle and give you 48 more hours to “talk” about it.

Wellsir, that is NOT what I’d do. 30 minutes to pack up and leave peaceably. And clean up your sh*t as you go. Or else any students involved will be kicked out of the school and tuition forfeited. Students who comply with these rules will attend a civility re-education course to be able to return to campus. If you are found to not be a Columbia student you will be fined and prosecuted for trespassing. At $32,670 a term the rest of our student body deserves the full Columbia education experience they paid for and we will see to it that experience does not include the stinking mob threats and interference with the services they have already paid for.

Read an article about Jewish students heading farther south. One Jewish student who planned on going to the Ivy League is very happy and undisturbed by this rabble at Elon University.

Before anyone begins to argue that America is in fine shape and that there’s nothing for us to worry about, read about the Supreme Court’s hearing today vis-à-vis Presidential Immunity.  You’ll find a good summary of these in The Epoch Times.  A reasonable person will shudder to imagine the questions these “high court justices” were asking.  To me, it seemed like simple-mindedness on steroids — and if someone wanted to know how such stupidity could ever find its way to the highest bench, it is only this: affirmative action.

The low-IQ Justice Jackson wondered, “If presidents are immune from prosecution, then why did Ford pardon Nixon?”  She wasn’t alone.  Sotomayor asked attorneys if the president could be prosecuted for ordering the military to assassinate someone overseas.  How could a president uphold the laws of the United States by violating them?  Was she thinking about Osama bin Laden or not thinking at all?  Kagan asked if a president could be prosecuted for selling nuclear secrets to a foreign government.  She may have been thinking about certain allegations involving Bill Clinton and Al Gore.  Barrett asked, “What if criminal behavior wasn’t discovered until after a president left office?”

I wanted to send an email question to the high court: What if frogs had wings?  I couldn’t get through.

As to Ed’s point — he’s entitled to his opinion.  I think it is a damn shame that Trump is the best this country has to offer.  I’ll also add this cautionary note: if we keep lowering our standards, it won’t be long before someone like Biden finds his way into the White House. In any case, small-minded Democrats had two chances to destroy Trump’s presidency and failed on both occasions (one of which occurred after he left office).  If there’s going to be a bite at all, it must occur while he’s in office, and if impeachment/senate conviction doesn’t work, then he’s as free as a lark.

    Also, Baysider for college/university president!

    @ Ed 10:02

Someone made allegations that require an investigation.  An investigation alleges that Trump had an extra-marital relationship with a porn star named Stormy Daniels (Stephanie Clifford) in 2006.  During the run-up to the 2016 election, Trump’s lawyer paid Daniels/Clifford $130,000 to keep her mouth shut about the affair.  Later, Trump paid his lawyer (Cohen) $130,000 and wrote it off as “legal expenses.”  Indeed, it was a legal expense.  Prosecutors now allege that the $130,000 constitutes an illegal campaign contribution by Cohen and a falsification of official records by Trump.  Hold on a moment while I laugh.

I do not accuse Trump of anything; I’m merely discussing the facts of the “hush money” trial.  However, no one is disputing the basis of the allegations.  Whether Trump diddled with a porn star is not my business.  And, truth be known, I don’t even care.  I’m certainly not looking for a savior to serve as president. Still, I do prefer a man who keeps his vows … such as the one he took to his gorgeous wife and the one he took when he became president, which states in part, “… and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.”  Article II of the Constitution includes the “Take Care Clause,” to wit: “ … he shall take care that the laws be faithfully executed.”

Sam (above) tells us that Daniels/Clifford never recanted her testimony.  Again, I don’t know.  What I do know is that I’m being asked to support a dishonest man at a time when our country needs someone other than a communist POS.  My choices are two: support the “other than” or stay home. Do I risk my principles? One vote in my state won’t matter in terms of the national outcome.

BAYSIDER….Most of America feels exactly like you do……No way any of what you articulate would happen but I think most people wish they would!!! Thanks.

MUSTANG: I listened to some of the discussion and thought it rather important to ask questions like that…”What if…?”

By the way, FOX had steamfitters and other construction guys interviewed whose major comment toward Biden was “F YOU”….One guy was on set with Jesse Watters and said the guys he knows are voting for Trump, that they helped elect Biden only to have 10,000 of their guys lose their livelihoods when he shut down the pipeline business! Etc.

We don’t really know WHAT happened with any of the women accusing Trump….

I surely don’t admire him if ANY of those things happened…but I SURE want Biden and his Leftwing country-destroyers OUT and, sadly for me and many others, voting for Trump is the only way to do it. I guess it could be asked “What if ANY of the presidents’ affairs were found out and they were all taken to court?” Yikes. I’m pretty sure Trump isn’t the first or even one of a few, right?

SAM: I never believe much that my neighbor sends me from Gateway Pundit but the letter sure ‘looked’ official……..still, who couldn’t create that? I agree.

ED….I think “he could do better than that” is a good point, honestly. I’m not sure many more high class women would have given him a go, though! Easier to dally with a women known for dalliances!!
