I’ve voiced my opinion on Cuba before. I’m not so sure it will end up being a bad thing in the long run. Its just the WAY Obummer went about it. As was previously pointed out we got nothing in exchange; however, the Cuban people, like most Hispanics, are nice, hardworking people and they’ve been subjected to Castro’s regime for more than a half century and its time for change, which I feel will come about. Under our new “friendship” it will be hard for Raul to stop them from coming to the U.S. and will (hopefully) slowly change to a democracy.

Just as an aside, there is a friend of mine at work who is from Cuba decades ago. I asked him if he was planning to go back and visit when it opens up. His eyes got larger and he said not right away, maybe 10-15 years. fwiw.

Z….I really , really like Jeb. He was an outstanding Governor here….a staunch supporter of 2A…..30 other states followed his Castle Law initiative and concealed carry. And it has nothing to do with knowing him and his cell number for over 20 years…LOL
Yet…I’m so torn. Really. I hate dynasties….probably more so the Klintons than the Bush’s. But..anyone who’s resistant to him as the nominee…and think they’ll do a write in of Cruz or somebody…..needs to be shot for being a complete asshole for electing Killary. Because…that’s’ exactly what’s going to happen.
Jeb…would abide by what the Congress wishes…if they hate his immigration policy…..and they veto it…..he’ll not behave like the african emperor would…and say…phook the Constitution…phook Congress… I am Barack Blak Obama…I am your salvation and Emperor. Imp…I tend to agree with you from what I’ve seen of Jeb the last few days. And you know I wasn’t that hot on him. I’m also learning more and more about Common Corp and we’ve been purposefully bamboozled; I’ve had teachers tell me it’s not as bad as we think and I’m beginning to think they’re right.
I believe he’s honest as far as having the guts to say “if they don’t like me, they don’t have to vote for me”…you don’t often hear those words from a politician but I’ve heard him say it.
Is he his own man? I’m not sure…But I know he’d be a pretty good president; and Attila the Hun’d be better than what we’ve got NOW.
But, yes…dynasties stink. And Conservatives are FAR more honest than Liberals so it’s going to work against us…I believe Conservatives will be against a dynasty and could be stupid enough not to vote (as that crap they pulled on Romney and look what they gave us!)….but libs will vote for their lib even if they despise him/her.

Z…thanks…believe me…he is a humble, honest, smart and a patriot…and has a very strong faith too. I’m not about to run ads for the guy. I just know he’s a man of his word. I worked with him on a number of state / local issues when I was a political animal here in my backyard. He never jumped the gun….and he was always open to hear both sides…..weigh the differences and knew what was right. Not politically expedient….but what was the right thing to do. He’s a good man…maybe too good to get in the gutter with the clinton scum…is what I fear. But…he’s no Mitt Romney…so…I hope he cleans the floor with her…..the POS that she is. ( I’m hoping she succumbs to her “concussion” and is a resident of a psycho ward for the rest of her scuzzy life ) Good…must prevail this time out. This is the most important election in our lives…..if we’re to keep us and this country together. Otherwise…who knows…..outright secession?

Kid, and the MATH, from what I hear. One math teacher thinks it’s clever; another math nut says it’s insane. You can’t believe how weird it is to hear them describe addition, for example…I think ..or multiplication? I wish I remember how it worked; it was ABSOLUTELY NUTS!! GOD FORBID kids had to memorize the multiplication tables, right? sarcasm here.

What I see in Jeb is his being EARNEST. TRULY EARNEST…he might be bamoozling me (it won’t be the first time a man does that!!) but some tell me I have uncannily true perceptions of peoples’ characters and I’m hoping I’m right. (Kid, aside) And I HOPE that he’ll STAND FIRM. I would LOVE to see a debate with him and scuzzy!!

I was saying that Common Core as specified is great, but thru whatever medium of its implementation, it has been FUBARed. Given life experience, it is not hard to conclude that the libtards screwed it up by creating a curricula that ensured its failure.
