I believe there’s a concerted effort driven by the DNC, and probably George Soros and others, to GET TRUMP. SOON. Yes, we all know that…I know…. but it’s worse and rather wild now:
Politicians not clapping once at a SOTU, horrible gossip about Trump that affects Melania’s feelings. Mrs. Obama humiliating Melania NOW instead of when would have been more normal, soon after Melania gave the Tiffany box to Mrs. Obama on inauguration day. It’s timing…the right timing for this ‘revelation’ was now, apparently, not when it all went down and the media was clamoring for what was in the Tiffany Box. And the ugliness goes from one Trump to another, and it’s concerted….ABC, NBC, CNN, all say the same memes, all about Eric Trump. Then a few days later, his wife. Then Donald Jr, everybody weighing in on the same things…then Tiffany Trump….then Ivanka and Jared…..odd that all channels harp on one at a time…..they GOT THE MEMO, TRUST ME! They lay off Baron only a little more because there’s kind of an unwritten rule about young presidential kids, but he’s suffered his bumps, too.
Sure, they slam Trump…(again, who the heck kept that tape from Access Hollywood from about 10 years ago and why?), they do the normal slamming of his political decisions, though much worse than I’ve seen it in my whole life other than Nixon, maybe? They slam Trump for supposed sexual escapades and how awful he is for them, but these are all unfounded, never proven….and these same ‘feminists’ would vote for Bill Clinton for President tomorrow if they could, and they KNOW he screwed around, even with a young girl in our White House!
Now there are celebrities working hard to get rid of him. Celebrities impact young people; this is a very good move on the part of liberals. They’re vowing to keep up the pressure through the midterms and we all know we’re on a slippery slope for keeping the Republicans in the House and Senate, particularly because so many Republicans are leaving…even Trey Gowdy, who we had such faith in! At least I DID! Yes, they’re leaving, the good ones, and the Lefty loons are working on young voters.
I’m trying to stay optimistic, I love what Trump’s been doing………but this is VERY BAD.
Late night shows hate him and talk to Porn Stars about him, making it look like they were together even if she’s now saying they weren’t….I don’t have to tell most of you that CNN’s a 24/7 panel of Trump haters, and even some FOX interviewers are suddenly throwing snide remarks in against Trump. Thank goodness for Martha McCallum, Shannon Bream, Tucker Carlson, Neal Cavuto, Maria Bartiromo and Bill Hemmer (and some others); they’re pretty pro Trump and stand up for him. Shepard Smith detests Trump and it shows……and Brett Baier and is strictly facts, with little of his feelings showing…but I think he’s more pro than anti Trump.
They TWIST THINGS SO BADLY! There are MANY MANY Leftists talking now about how Trump called ALL Hispanics murderers and drug cartels because he called out MS 13…WHAT? Do you really think these people are STUPID enough to think that’s what he means? Of course not! But they’re speaking up to make it LOOK like that’s what he did. He DID NOT. One MSNBC interviewer said “Only people on FOX even know what this gang is..” as if FOX invented the Mexican murderous gang! As if everyone doesn’t know they murdered at least those poor daughters of the two couples Trump introduced at the SOTU!
And this hate is more insidious and ugly than we are used to, as well. I am almost 100% convinced that the Dem politicians the other night didn’t clap or stand just to GET TRUMP RILED UP. Trump doesn’t like people to ignore him, to not appreciate him…..it must have KILLED his type of personality to be there talking and have people across this land see that he wasn’t being liked or appreciated. OKAY, we know they did that because they’re against his policies, but they went farther. I believe they did this to get him to SAY SOMETHING OFF SCRIPT, something NASTY and SOMETHING THAT WOULD HAVE SPOILED THE WHOLE SPEECH:
It was a very GOOD speech and Pelosi just CAN’T HAVE THAT. “get him riled…make him scream at us…..call us a nasty name..” Thank GOD his people primed him NOT TO.. I really do think I’m right.
SO….insults to family……trying to destroy his marriage…….trying to throw him off…..mischaracterizing everything he says……….this is tough stuff.

Either there’s a concerted effort or the Left is having a meltdown of desperation. I can’t tell which because I’m so fed up with the Enemedia that I avoid watching and reading too much of what the Left is advocating. Too much going on here on the home front! We’re again caught in the medical loop because Mr. AOW needs all sorts of pre-op tests for cataract surgery during the busiest quarter of the school term.
Anyway, back to your observations, Z….You could well be correct. I just asked Mr. AOW; he agrees with you, and he’s usually spot on because he watches more TV news than I do.
How the Dems behaved during the SOTU was horrible. And they and those who align with them think that the Dems are on the moral high road to save our republic. Pffffffft.

The number of American citizens who are 18 or older is roughly 245 million. I’m willing to bet that fewer than 20% of them understand what impeachment means, and most of those would be lawyers, teachers, and older people who actually studied civics and government in school.
To impeach means basically to question the validity or the veracity of an action or person. Where it relates to the call for impeaching government officials, it simply means to formally accuse of something, much like an indictment by a grand jury – it’s not a trial in se, merely a charge.
Slick Willy was impeached, but he remained in office thereafter because not enough votes were available in the Senate at the time to convict him of any crime, so the impeachment was basically an official finger wagging and unofficial tongue-clucking.
A Trump impeachment would NOT mean that Hillary, or Nancy, would become PotUS, as I’m sure a whole lot of ignorant libs believe. The US Constitution says that a sitting president can be removed from office for “treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors,” but it never specifies what those “other” crimes are.
Drawing up the articles of impeachment is the job of the House, and a simple majority vote is all that’s necessary to throw it over to the Senate for trial with the SCotUS Chief Justice presiding. And conviction by the Senate requires a 2/3 vote in favor. Clinton, for example, was acquitted on all charges by the Senate after being formally impeached in the House.
So unless Mueller discovers or creates evidence of “high crimes and misdemeanors” in his year-long, multi-million-dollar “Russia! Russia! Russia!” witch hunt, impeachment is not in the cards, despite Slapsie Maxine’s racist, sexist chants of “Impeach 45!”
Based on some of her remarks over the past year or so, I’m not sure she even understands the process. SanFranNan probably did at one time, but she’s likely forgotten in her advancing senility. And yes, since I’m the same age as Pelosi (77), I can say that. Mad Max has a couple years on me, but I think her problem is more related to congenital stupidity than the ravages of time.

What should we think he’s doing at his house all day and night with rich celeb friends who have so much invested in kicking sand in America’s face?

Z, It is my opinion that many people voted for Trump becuase he couldn’t be bought – he said that as well, and he was not a politician. There was some level of blind faith there because we all know Trump had contributed to many democrat campaigns including the beast. Those people wondered if Trump would actually do Anything he was talking about.
He is getting his agenda done, and I’m here to trell you, many of those people can’t Wait to vote for Trump in 2020. These people also recognize the real problem is the Rino’s who are obstructing. They ahve targets on their back. If people get candidates in the primaries who pledge to support Trump’s agenda, I belive some rinos will get replaced when up for re-election. As well, many democrats are up for re-election in 2018 in states that Trump was favored. Say goombye to those anti-American clowns.
And Trump has accomplished more for America in a year (fighting the repubs in congress) than the last 4 presidents did combined.
1) He got conservative judge Neil Gorsuch on the Supreme Court.
2) The stock market is at an all-time high.
3) Consumer confidence is at an all-time high.
4) He created more than a million jobs by undoing Obama’s regulations.
5) Mortgage applications for new homes is at a 7 year high.
6) Unemployment rate is at a 16 year low.
7) Signed the promoting women in entrepreneurship act.
8) Gutted 800 Obama era regulations thus freeing up companies to hire again and get the economy moving once again.
9) Ended the war on coal and caused a new mine for coal mining to open that will mine clean coal. He also put the miners back to work.
10) Weakened Dodd-Frank regulations.
11) Promotes buying and hiring American.
12) Investments from major businesses such as Foxconn, Ford ,Toyota, Intel amd others will build here now.
13) Reduced illegal immigration by over 70%.
14) Bids for the border wall are underway.
15) He’s fighting back against sanctuary cities.
16) Changed the rules of engagement against ISIS.
17) Drafted a plan to defeat ISIS.
18) Worked to reduce the cost of the F-35 fighter jets.
19) Imposed a five year lobbying plan.
20) Sanctioned Iran over its’ missile program.
21) Responded to Syria’s use of chemical weapons.

Also a CBS Poll on the approval rating of Trump’s SOTU has it Repubs 97%, Dems 43%, Indies 72% Indies being the big hitter. I believe the dems are really turning a lot of people off.

I’m reading Red Famine now. It’s Anne Applebaum’s book about Stalin’s project to starve out Ukraine. But of course the history starts earlier. They get lots of practice honing their techniques in 1918-1922. The horrible lies and “ends justifies the means” activities the commies engaged in — directed by Lenin — is shockingly similar to the APB on the left to GET TRUMP. They REALLY want to ‘get’ the American people.

Example: the Reds created a BIG famine 1920+. They admitted to the famine and made a plea for aid. Many private groups responded, but the biggest aid agency was the U.S. agency organized by Hoover for the relief of Belgium. He was wise enough to put 2 conditions on U.S. aid: 1) all American prisoners would be released from Soviet prisons first, and 2) Americans would manage the distribution process to circumvent widespread corruption, theft, and state criminal activity.
LENIN threw a fit. I’m listening to the book, so I don’t have the exact quote but it’s something like “we have to GET that Hoover, smash him down and humiliate him publicly.” Hoover was feeding 11 million Russians a day and delivering huge amounts of medicines. But this is how the LEFT behaves — then, and now.
