Suddenly, Ohio State wrestlers are saying Rep. Jim Jordan,once a wrestling coach at Ohio State, knew about sexual abuse by a sports doctor and is lying about it now.
I had CNN on yesterday morning, and one of the men who’s coming forward now, 30 years later, and 13 years after the death of Dr. Richard Strauss, was interviewed by John Berman. You had to laugh at Berman’s demeanor. “And you’re SURE Jim Jordan knew?” “Oh, yes, we all knew…” MY QUESTION IS “WHY NOW?”
I believe this last paragraph in USA TODAY’s article give us the answer:
Jordan, one of the most powerful conservatives in Congress, is the co-founder of the House Freedom Caucus and could be a top candidate to replace a retiring Paul Ryan, R-Wis., as House Speaker. Jordan was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2006.
NEVER, EVER mess with the FBI or the DoJ, like Jordan did when he questioned Wray and Rosenstein.
After the CNN interview, Allysin Camarata, Berman’s partner on their morning show, said “That was really helpful, really helpful.”
She’s right. But one asks a rhetorical question; “For what?”

So, how many females students would Jordan have been in contact with as an assistant wrestling coach in a male-dominated sport, to know about the doctors behavior?

Good point Ed. Until there is reason to believe otherwise, he is innocent and this is a preemptive strike to tear him down because he is on that very short list of conservatives.

Ed, I don’t understand your female point…he was a wrestler, then a coach of wrestling male students at a very young age….he was with all men, the doctor was apparently gay, and the attackers are saying everyone knew and that Jordan used to even say “He’d better not come near ME!”
All of which I think IS A LIE because I SAW the accuser on CNN and he was squirming.
I don’t not believe the doc DID this, I just question how many people, 25 years ago, would have done ANYTHING? I’d have thought “So, he did that to you? Tell him NOT TO” and I’m figuring Jordan for that type. To blame him now is nuts.

Fingers crossed on SCOTUS Kavanaugh. I know he was young when on the Starr team, but he did head up the Vince Foster coverup….I spent hours reading and listening to tapes. There is no way in the world Foster died at Fort Marcy Park and Kavanaugh was ordered by the court to include an addendum to the report…Looks like he is the shoo in. A Bushie through and through… sorry to rant but this just is not getting the attention it deserves.

First as a point of reference.The American news media falsely reported that Starr’s report was 114-pages long, concealing the existence of the appendix, which made it 137 pages long.
The appendix includes copies of twenty-five federal investigative records, proving six areas of cover-up. The FBI in the review were the very same agents who did the original investigation. The court ruled that the appendix had to be included which refuted the original report.
