Sunday Faith Blog

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say[a] to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”

Psalm 91; 1-2

Am praying on this verse and remembering we do dwell in the shelter of the Most High and that He is our refuge, our fortress, the only one to TRUST when we are feeling that trust is hard to commit to these days.

I hope more and more people can understand and follow the reminder from Psalm.

Have a very happy Sunday!

It’s getting harder and harder to stay positive in today’s world. Faith is all we have to keep from becoming discouraged and giving up, so keeping the faith is paramount to happiness.
It’s important to stay positive and be happy.
“Cheer up. Things could be worse”
(so I cheered up and, sure enough, things got worse)

👍 I think age is a factor too, Mal. As we age we live through more and more cycles of the S-O-S with rottenness and disappointment in the human race being so far off God’s mark. The first time it’s something like “what just happened, I can’t BELIEVE it!” Then it becomes “here we go again” and finally “what did you expect?” This alone is enough to pray “Lord mold me into your image.”

Amen to what you just said, Bay. As time passes, we become numb and complacent to sin, expecting it even. It’s just sad fewer and fewer folks even care anymore; not a good sign.
I try to keep things light……add a bit of levity when I can….. to keep me in a better mood.

MAL…I think it’s what’s kept you so young while you’re so NOT young 🙂

BAYSIDER….”What did you expect?” is such a sad place to be….I still can’t believe many things, and I’m not at all naive or uninformed……..
Mostly, the very recent disgust for America I’m seeing even from Conservatives….I really can’t BELIEVE it….
